Daghatar is terrible! The High Sentinels of Arashin are way, way, way better than this. Why would you spend 3 mana to move a counter when you can spend 4 to just add a new one? To me, this guy seems really bad, especially after everything we've just seen. I'm really dissappointed, I was hoping for something a little more flashy or at least good...
The Monastery Siege seems pretty nice, on the other hand. The first ability looks great for Delve decks.
Good catch on noticing that Daghatar does not restrict the movement of +1/+1 counters from just among creatures you control. It can take your opponents +1/+1 counters away as well, which is a good political tool and math buster in combat.
I think the Siege may be considered as a SB option against Jeskai burn should that deck become rampant. Also, the dragon on the Siege looks absolutely stunning!
Daghatar looks like a fun commander, but not much else outside of limited.
No idea where that siege is supposed to go, but it's pretty good, and should find a home in standard.
So far the khans in this set are really underwhelming. I guess they are meant for commander more than constructed?
The only cool thing I can see about daghatar is hardened scales, since you will now be putting 2 counters on a guy instead of just 1, but still it's pretty bad. I was hoping for something that makes the outlast lords (ainok bond-kin, abzan falconer, etc..) playable in standard. This isn't it.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
The Dragon mode on Monastery Siege is really good against nearly every deck except Monogreen. Protects your permanents and protects yourself. Great Planeswalker protection, too
Really cool art on both cards. Daghatar seems pretty useless outside of lmited though. And I'm guessing the dragon on monastery siege is the U/W one? I wish the others were a bit more original (in appeareance) aswell.

It's a nice trick in khans limited, but you honestly can't rely on stealing a single +1/+1 counter from your opponent to make a splash anywhere else.
Presumably because you can steal them in EDH? I dunno obviously not a card for traditional constructed formats.
Daghatar can't target Animar, buddy.
Most Used (of many dozens) EDH Decks:
Brago, King Eternal - Stax
Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - Aggro Combo
Wort, the Raidmother - Spellslinger Swarm Control
Animar, Soul of Elements - Tempo Combo
Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder - Spellslinger
Exodia the Forbidden One:
Oona, Queen of the Fae - Combowins.dec
1) Good joke about spending 3cmc to steal one counter 2)Animar has pro white
Animar has protection from Daghatar.
Edit: Double Nath'd
Daghatar looks like a fun commander, but not much else outside of limited.
