I am fully prepared for the Jeskai Charm to suck the most because UW are the control colors and they've been making sure Blue has nothing since Gatecrash.
Here's a list of cards that have seen play in successful standard, modern, legacy, or vintage decks from sets after Gatecrash:
Sadly the charms will never fit in any aggro shell.. more likely see play in midrange and control. Would love to have that instant speed duress to prevent boardwipes

While Sultai Charm is probably more suited for midrange/control, I don't see any problem with Mardu Charm in aggro, just because a deck is aggro doesn't mean that disruption and removal are completely ignored (just that you only run a limited number of those spells and that those spells are used to further the aggressive strategy). This does a lot of great things for a Mardu based aggro deck - kills blockers (especially Courser of Kruphix), protects from wraths and it can always just pump out tokens for more beatdown and potentially to ambush an attacking creature or 2). I'd be very tempted to run this as a 3 of in Mardu aggro especially if the deck used anthem effects (2/2 tokens push this a lot).
Good cards. All charms are powerful for 3mana and very flexible too. Can't wait to see the rest
This definitely fits the Mardu gameplan perfectly, it will see play
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Kills 4 toughness creatures. Give you 2 power of instant speed first strike and lets you Duress at instant speed.
It's the end of turn Gitaxian Probe just to check if your opponent "has it" before committing to your alpha strike with something like Stormbreath or Sarkhan.
Flexibility makes this charms really powerful, some will be more busted, but I'm willing to say that all of them are going to see some amount of play. The instant speed Duress is really strong in this one.
Lol let's not over hype this card shall we. It's just fine, not fantastic. Power-level wise it's a little lousier than Sultai Charm. And the latter is on par with the Alara charms.
unf, that charm is good...really good perhaps if mardu becomes a thing. no matter if you're up against control or aggro, this charm has some really sweet flexibility. the 4 damage in particular are so important to battle courser.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.

The only problem this charm has for an Aggro deck is that it can be very hard to hit all 3 colors "on time" (probably turn 3 or 4) for an Aggro deck.
Aggro needs to come out of the gates swinging and that's why Aggro "traditionally" doesn't run more than 2 colors (most of the time): Because it's hard to get to a fast start if your hand is Mountain, Mountain, Battlefield Forge, Frenzied Goblin, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Lightning Strike, Mardu Charm, for example. Sure, this is just not a great hand, but it also not the worst possible (it has 3 lands and 2 of 3 colors and it has the chance to draw into just the right land to "get there") - yet still you can probably see why an Aggro plan with this hand might not come together.
tl;dr: Aggro values consistancy over most other things, consistancy + 3 colors is often difficult to achieve at the same time (even with a card like Mana Confluence).
Totally agree.. have yet to see a successful 3 color aggro deck
A pretty huge thing, actually -- and now, they can get a landbase that takes them to 11 life on turn 3 in order to have access to all 5 colors!
The pain is real.

Naya Zoo, Bant Hexproof and some builds of Mardu Aristocrats (although that was more combo based) are a few examples I thought of straight away. So long as mana fixing is quick and easy aggro decks can be three colours. With fetchlands and mana confluence it's very likely that aggro decks can get this card out fast enough. In modern, fetches and shocklands make 3 coloured aggro ridiculously easy to build (at least in terms of mana base).
This is a lot more in line with my percieved profile of the WBR shard than what the Mardu tribe is described to be like. Lovely midrange catch-all answer card.

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
The two flash first-strikers has the potential for a blowout (4 for 1?) against certain decks. That's some really high upside on a card that has otherwise safe utility. In a control or midrange build, you're never going to feel bad about this card hanging around in your hand.
Except that this charm eats both answers out of your hand? It's instant duress bro. You need both to be able to cast 1.

Forgot about those decks, but the question is do they have an instant with 3CMC and in 3 different colors?
