Augh. Maro's all, "No, don't worry, Temur mechanic has a name!"
Naya mechanic was boring. Slapping a keyword on it doesn't make it any better. Of all the possibilities they had for RGU, they went with a power-matters mechanic?
Artwork for Icefeather Aven is amazing, though.
Icefeather Aven also confirms the speculation on why the wedges aren't centered on the shared enemy. Sure, GB is in the Sultai wedge, but Sultai is centered in Black, so it has the Temur watermark instead.
All the clan mechanics are sweet and simple, though with the exception of Delve, not awfully powerful at first glance. (I was right in thinking I'd end up becoming a Sultai fanboy. Turns out they feature the craziest mechanic and have Rakshasa. Consider me sold)
Apart from Icefeather's amazing artwork, what excites me far more is the fact that we get Morph. Overlay. Tokens! And they look sweet!

Icefeather Aven shows how much more playable Morph is going to be. Decent unmorphed body with the gravy of potential morph. this set is shaping up nicely. I am a bit disappointed about the Temur mechanic though.
Slapping an keyword on the '4 power of greater' ability makes it easier to recognize as Temur's theme, which is good, but being very much an analogue to Naya's '5 power or more' mechanic is a bit disappointing. A few okay cards here, though, and I like the use of Morph on the wedge coloured critters.
I just can't get over how bad outlast is in a vacuum. There might be a card or two that are pushed, but overall it's so unexciting. Boo for sorcery speed and can't be activated without haste. I like lens of clarity. It's not a good card, but I like it anyway.
Personally I'm just waiting for the time when someone casts lens, checks a facedown creature, and sees a nonmorph guy as the card. It's preemptive cheater busting!

And you can just look at all the morph'd creatures right? Nothing says it's a one time use.

Also, according to the article, Ferocious is basically just keywording "4+ creatures matter." It's not always about attacking with one under control. It can be anything, but it will always relate to fatties
Ferocious seems like a twist on the naya mechanic. I am not really a fan of 'threshold like' mechanics.
I hope not all delve cost that much to cast, even if they actually cost much less mid-end game.
The outlast common we saw till now are actually good, even if the mechanic seems mhe in theory.
Still waiting to see good recurring instant/sorcery for prowess.
Raid seems cute, it's a classic aggro mechanic I would say.

These are commons. How often do commons get playable?
All of these commons seem very playable. (In limited of course.)

because some commons which were only taken because they had the keywords are not constructed playable, the whole set must be bad.
yeah... how many playable commons had the last sets? not that many i guess...
