I like it like pseudo cascade, my only gripe is that it needed trample, I like my win-mores. Unfortunately it is not constructed playable and it is garbage in Tribal Hydras. No one wants to cast a 0/0 for free.

Um...does this really say "designed by..." as its flavor text? I noticed that on "Waste Note" too but thought it was just special for the community card design. Is this a thing now? Gah

On MTGO as Protoman.
On 7/14/10, broke 1900 mark! <3 ROE.
There's a bunch of cards designed by various designers, developers and writers in the gaming industry, so it's just that "cycle". Seemed to be about 15.
Seems good in a G/x devotion deck. He's a big dumb dude, but given that you can slap down a Garruk, Chandra, Domri, Xenagos, etc with him for free it's incredible value.
I presume the “designed by" is for the presentation, perhaps because the real flavor text gives away information?

The card was designed by the Plants vs Zombies designer. They have to give him credit so that's what it's for. In M15 there will be other similar cards, for example a card designed by someone who worked on Diablo 3.
Genesis Wave slapped onto a Hydra? Seems really fun in Omnath EDH decks. My inner Green mage must abuse this.:)

I'd be shocked if this didn't see play, at least in post-rotation standard. This guy is a lot of value for green devotion decks.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
I like the card. Sure, it's not competitive, but it looks like loads of fun.
The frame is okay, and I guess we'll get used to the font... but the "Designed by..." stuff, they have GOT to let that go. It very much makes me not want to own the card.
Edit: I'm trying to not let it get to me because I know there's no way they're going to change it, but I really, really hate the font. It's all crooked and out of balance, it seems like a childish, unprofessional choice. There, I'll shut up now.
David Sirlin has actually commented previously on what sort of card he'd like to make; something like, "Secretly write down the name of a card, if your opponent plays that card you can reveal your choice to counter it". But I'm guessing they won't let him do that...

Trust me, it is competitive. When you can get to 10 mana easily on turn 5, this is pretty powerful.
Neat! Almost has Cascade in a way. Playable.
