I'm assuming it will be red vs blue. Red will play aggressively but have many ways to do it, maybe land destruction and equipment to make the creatures tough. They'll definitely have size and power and their side. Blue will probably have a lot of blink and bounce spells and creatures that have ETB abilities. They'll be weaker but have more of a crafty playing style.
Like mentioned, it's hard to judge this product by the name alone, and until we get a little more information (hopefully next week at SDCC) then I think it will be hard to determine what goodies this may provide.
I'm sensing a red Samurai (speed) vs. blue Ninjas (cunning).

RvB (yes, I know blue is U in magic, just let me have my image of playing Military Intelligence and then attacking with Church, Tucker, and Caboose, okay?) for the main color rivalry makes approximately all of the sense. The basic description of the events in the duel decks seems to point to both decks being combat-oriented, though - Speed with a strong rush of creatures (and it wouldn't be surprising if there was a lot of Haste involved), Cunning with combat tricks and the like (stuff like the aforementioned Military Intelligence and probably Triton Tactics would be good fits).
The question is what's happening with the other colors in each deck, or even if there are any: there's definitely been some speculation (at least on here) that Khans could have a big emphasis on monocolor, so it could very well just be a Red deck duking it out with a Blue deck. If the emphasis is on combat on both sides, the Cunning deck would be plenty different from Jace's deck in the last duel deck. If there are secondary colors, though, I'm betting on black for both of them, or maybe red/black and blue/green. Not many color combos are speedier than red/black, and blue/black has the deepest sleeves to pull tricks from (though green has a lot of combat tricks in its own right). Hopefully we'll get some more info about it from the SDCC panel.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
Speed is most likely red/white. Cunning is most likely blue/green. The ambush thing is the description screams flash mechanic being utilized along with flashy spells. Just my thoughts.

Yeah Wizards would definitely never reprint Snapcaster in a supplement product, let alone a FOIL Snapcaster. Maybe if he had REALLY REALLY *****ty art that no one wanted to use or something IDK, as much as I would love a foil Snapcaster in a duel deck, it is just so astronomically unlikely...
I expect we will see the two cover cards, one of which will be from KTK.
Last SDCC, they showed Sun Titan from Heroes VS Monsters, as well as Polukranos, World Eater but without any information other than the name and illustration. When they explained we would have to wait to see the rest of the card, they got booed. This was extremely disrespectful from the crowd, but I imagine the panelists will now show full cards instead of minor glimpses.
Honestly, we have no reason to care about this release yet. That may change after SDCC but I have my doubts.
We know there will be preprints from Khans of Tarkir and there's a chance the Speed and Cunning factions will give us some insight into the setting. Is that not a reason to care?
They deservedly got booed, because this is what normal people do. The marketing side of WotC needs to understand more about the human psyche. If you reveal something with strings attached, people will grow from curiousity to frustration.

Booed? Where? What's the situation? Am I missing something here?
Oh I get it. The booing probably came from those who were also hockey fans because Gary Bettman was nearby. Gotcha.

Duel Decks Samurais vs Ninjas would REALLY sell.
I don't see why we can't have both. I like it more when these products have multiple needed reprints instead of just one. Heck, add a third!
