About damn time. They should ignore secondary markets and care about actual attendance at LGSs. Printing good FNMs is one of the ways of making Standard great again.
None of these cards really have a high secondary market value. But they're decently good for their purpose.
Dat Aether Hub. Seeing that it won't be available until June makes me hate WOTC. I don't get pushing promos for a set 8 months after release. I can deal with a 1 month delay, but liek 6 months for the first card in it? Dumb. By the time we get Aether Hub, Hour of Devastion will be knocking on the door and I doubt anyone except the most budgeted of budget players will still be rocking the Pummeler deck. Lacking the traditional 3rd set means no more innovation on the Energy idea and no more new deck ideas surrounding it will really be born without some strange over the top new mechanic or mana fixing.

Yes, this thread is still alive! Thank you for your contribution and for confirmation of this promo.
The first post hasn't been updated.
Now it has! Apologies for the double-post, but I think that it's worth it. I've been granted OP privileges, so I've totally re-done the first post. It should contain 2016 and 2017 info now (depending on the series - FNM I started with January of this year, but for Judge promos I went back to the whole 2016 list because of the wacky distribution. Mostly, I went back as far as Kaladesh.). Let me know if you want to see anything else. It's still a work in progress - most of the card links are to the wrong version of the card, but that takes a while and I wanted to get updated info up as soon as I could.
Nice. I am happy to see this get updated more and cleaned up. I collect. And knowing where a random promo reprint is is very useful. Because I collect every copy of some things.
I saw your Gift Box for amonkhet was blank, so I started to research it, reddit had a thread that led to this tweet.

Double-posting to let people know that I've updated the OP with the newly-announced July/August/September FNM promos, and the Aether Revolt League tokens. If anyone sees any promos in the wild, or hears any announcements, this is the place to let us know!

Where can I find a log of all the League tokens? I've never heard of them before. Wizards is not good at promoting this sort of thing at all.
Here is a list of all past League tokens. It was a nonfoil single-sided (with an ADVERT, of all things! on the reverse) token from M13-Fate Reforged. Then they took a bit of a hiatus, and then Kaladesh and Aether Revolt rolled out double-sided foil tokens.
Amonkhet league wrapped up last night, and no tokens were given out (at least, not in my LGS). So WOTC may be changing things up AGAIN.
So... FNM promos are tokens now (from October onward)?
No more playable goodies?
You got it. Check out the OP - I reworked it last night to account for all these changes.
This is a pretty huge change, and while I hope it works out for us I gotta say that killing the FNM promos seems like a step in the wrong direction. If they'd decided to do so in March, after a loooooong string of failures, people might've been more receptive but FNM foils literally just got good again.
Foil tokens are cool, but they've gotta be actually useful tokens and not just Standard flash-in-the-pan. Zombie was great. Servo not so much.

I collect zombie tokens too, but this just means I have less incentive to play FNM. And everyone else has way less incentive to care about standard. Is that what they wanted? To kill standard play?
Is there any info on what tokens will be available int his promotion or if they will be double sided?

I just saw on MTGO i received the sterling grove as a promo. Is this MTGO only? Because I definitely want this IRL.
Sources have not revealed that as a paper promo. Not saying that it won't happen, but as it would've made a perfect FNM promo (and those are now discontinued), its venues are limited. If we get it on paper, it's much more likely to be as an alt-art card in a Commander set.

To be clear, I'm more perplexed than upset over the matter of FNM promo tokens (with the second set having been shown for a bit now) but it seems to make the much more sense for fnm promos to be modern viable (or any other format but modern just seems the most reasonable to me as the norm) standard legal uncommons (maybe throw two rares and a mythic in a year if they feel real nice) which rotate every four weeks or so.
* If they're standard legal uncommons as a general rule, this shouldn't “crash the market” because standard legal uncommons shouldn't be that expensive (they're uncommon… in rotation… and since we're talking “modern viable” there's a reasonable chance it's not the first time they've been printed).
* This system would attract Modern players to FNM (most of which seem to be standard events) offering them shots at alternate art versions of cards they use.
* This system would encourage Standard FNM players to venture into other formats, this pull only increases over time as their personal card pool with modern viable cards increases.
* While it may bring down the prices of a hand full of cards a year (but if they're focusing on uncommons it probably shouldn't matter too much) if they succeed in bringing in folks to a format they wouldn't typically play so much it would increase the demand (and thus value) of the cards they play well with.
If they were feeling particularly benevolent they could continue to offer tokens at essentially the same rate giving players who might have play sets or are otherwise entirely uninterested in the “card of the month” or really want a kind of token. Tokens don't suck but they are just as useless if you don't use them as any other thing you don't use and they certainly don't encourage play across formats as this program potentially could.
Anyways, there goes my unsolicited, loosely held opinion on the matter.

WOTC has stated that they want FNM to be less competitive, not more. They're dialing back the rewards, in the hopes of getting more casual players out of the woodwork. Standard Showdown (which rewards rares, foils, and promo basic lands) is where they want the real competition to be, and they don't want the competitive players showing up to crush FNMs just for a playset of Fatal Push. Whether or not that's a good thing is certainly debatable, but that's WOTC's stance on it and the rationale for this decision.
In other (more new-promo-related) news, I've updated the OP with the latest Judge foils - Spellskite and Pendelhaven!

Yes, we're all quite excited. September is a five-Friday month, which is probably why they made the switch.
