Is it just me or is it retarded from WotC that they take whole weeks for the vote for Enchantment or Land while we just get three days for the only part that truly matters: Sending in Card Ideas.
I don't understand why they do that. I got a lot of designs for lands, white Enchantments and now... I need to come up with one for a black enchantment in three days...
They don't want to have 7 million submissions to sift through?

My Submission:
As for what I was thinking. I wanted to get some kind of an engine out of this, was thinking something like:
Important note: Working together on an idea is forbidden:
By clicking the Submit Idea button below, in exchange for Wizards of the Coast LLC's ("Wizards") consideration of your card comcept and mechanic ("Submission"), you (i) represent that you solely created the Submission
I think what we should all do is come up with 1 thing that we all agree on and then have everyone submit the same thing so that way we as a community get a card that we really want instead of wizards picking and choosing something close to what they already have in mind.
Can we post our submission the the thread for other's review?
I don't think anyone is stopping you from posting on this forum (and I posted my submission above). In all of the other weeks, many people posted what they submitted on YMTC (several hundred posts of "I voted black" or "I voted creatures" were registered for sure). It's worth noting though that they seem to take issue here with custom card creation so I wouldn't include a mana cost...
Whenever a creature an opponent control dies, you may search your library for a creature card and put it into your graveyard. Then shuffle your library.
Whevever a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, you may return a creature card from your graveyard to the battllefield.
---------------
I wanted to create a card to give reanimator decks a cool new twist. Would be interesting to Doom Blade a mana dork, get Iona, Shield of Emeria in your grave, then produce a mana with Forbidden Orchard to get Iona.

"De potentia juvenis somniabat, nunc de Mundo somniat..."
At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 1 life, you may exile target creature from your graveyard, if you do, Put that card into your hand at the beginning of your next end step.
I think this is the opportunity to make a card that breaks the games rules and does something totally unique, instead of just "another pox" or something like that. IE, a mindslaver, not a worn powerstone. Apply that same logic to black enchantments.
I heavily recommend this to anyone suggesting ideas- because that will doubtlessly be what gets voted for the most.
If you post just another card that does something mundane, nobody will vote for it. Try to come up with wacky, unique mechanics that do something that has never been done before.
So heres what im working on, we need a draw engine for black so why not make a discard variant. Its great in EDH which is what wizards love nowadays and if costed right it could be a modern staple I think.
At the beginning of each players upkeep, that player discards a card.
Whenever a player discards a card, you may pay 2 life and draw a card.
As long as ~ is exiled, you may play cards exiled this game you own as if they were in your hand. Whenever you play an exiled card, put a doom counter on ~.
When ~ has three or more doom counters on it, you lose the game.
Cute isn't it? An exiled bridge from below. It'll be neat to see what happens with it....

I submitted a card that would be a new take on the card advantage engine. To keep it from breaking any rules, essentially, it gives card advantage to both players in exchange for a permanent from each (like a demonic contract), but it can also be turned off if either player decides to sacrifice card advantage.
Here's my probably too good spitball. It's obviously good with time warp variants, but how good is a grey area.
Yawgmoth's Requests 1BB
Enchantment
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a card in your graveyard on top of your library. If you do, you lose life equal to that card's converted mana cost. If you don't, exile ~.

Here's what I submitted. It just came to me all at once.
Taking life - 1B
Whenever a creature you control becomes blocked, it gains deathtouch until end of turn.
Whenever a creature you control attacks and isn't blocked it gains lifelink until end of turn.
That "attacks and isn't blocked" ability on the new demon and guiltfeeder got me thinking that it could be a part of black's color pie.

Aura losing was a huge loss in creativity. But that's been pretty much par for the course with this whole exercise. Oh well.
Whatever Wizards, I guess I'll skip this.

If an effect would put one or more tokens onto the battlefield, it puts half that many of those tokens onto the battlefield instead, rounded down.
