Thespian's Stage is amazing! I love these urban-flavor top-down cards more than most, and this one has a special place in my heart thanks to my love of the original Ravnica novel.
And I've finally found the card I will obsessively collect, as a professional actor and amateur magic player who has always loved copy effects. New favorite card.

Commander loves it. Modern is probably drooling(16 post sounds really, really stupid). Don't know if it'll make a splash in standard though. Hopefully it won't and the prices will remain reasonable.

Take your monoblack deck, then set aside 14 swamps. Add 4 Creeping Tar Pits, 4 Darkslick Shores, 4 Drowned Catacombs, and 2 Jwar isle Refuge and add 4 Jace, the Mindsculptors. Your monoblack deck is instantly better. Better yet, drop those refuges, throw in some islands and some mana leaks, and lo and behold, you're now playing a real deck. Congratulations. Welcome to the world of competitive M:TG.
