After drafting three of the guildmages last night I have to say... a lot of you were wrong about her. She costs two mana, and when she swings she is a headache and a half. Either they block her and lose a creature or they don't and lose tons of life. Very, very efficient. They HAVE to use a removal spell or they will quickly lose board position and the game. And in this format, who wants to use one of the rare removal spells on a measly 2 drop?

You've got a rat in your walls, and cheese won't solve anything.

Well sure, rakdos guildmage is very nice in offence, but does nothing on defence.
So if you allready have a good aggressive RB the guildmage is obvisious a nice extra and never "bad".
But as said, on defence it does nothing, which is the only real drawback if you seek for one.
