Chaos Imps is an undercosted game ender, hitting harder than any of the titans with two forms of relevant evasion in this standard. If it is attacks it should be winning you the game if your deck has been doing anything relevant the past 5-6 turns.
About the Izzet elemental here are some cards i think might work well with it if you build arround it: Clout of the dominus for haste, shroud, +2/+2 and the whole thing being playable turn 2 Not of this world if you can manage to get it to enough power its a free counter spell against destruction gigadrowse for at least +4/+4 for one spell and being able to remove blockers Dizzy spell to be able to tutor it or the clout or to be dumped in for counters
pacts and cheap phyrexian mana spells for free spells to make it bigger if needed or use normally
Let me know what you think about these options, i think some of them might be worth trying.
please wise ones, what can i call creatures that dont have game changing abilities and just have keywords on them? since apparently something so little means so much to you.

The most exciting way to use this guy in non-standard is cheap Storm and Replicate spells like Gigadrowse and Ground Rift/

Guys, discarding a card along with maybe paying life/mana is not worth two +1/+1 counters always, certainly not universally enough to build around... It's a great card that has potential to break some things, but nothing sticks out as of now. You run it as a beater/blocker that you can pump if you get countered or if you need to squeeze in some dmg.

IIW for any CCC (pick the highest one in the list):
A high-costed equipment (I want it big, but make sure it isn't nutso-broken with Stoneforge. So a high equip cost or a benefit for casting or something)
A Squirrel Wizard
A G?? (1-3 colors, including green) legendary creature with its main strat based on not attacking

Hmmmm vanilla.... who has some vanilla for me... I love me some vanilla.....
Grey = coloured in any colour you like.... right.... so yeah.. whatever....
Dont get why people get so mad/butthurt about what others say... seriously, its only a game, opinions differ, just cause someone doesnt agree with you, doesnt mean they are wrong and you are right....
It's called using words correctly because otherwise Black Lotus is a vanilla creature.
So let me get this correct Mr. Nivmagus Elemental...
I can save my Tropical Island from being destroyed with just your presence online? Sure can, tap that land and float a "U" to your mana pool (in response to a triggered Wasteland let say), then cast a Brainstorm....return the Trop to your hand with a timed Daze in response.... and simply remove the counterspell from the stack which will hopefully allow your Brainstorm to resolve, hense making the creature larger and saving the sweet dual as the end result.
The possibilities are crazy if I'm reading this card correctly, it pretty much says "oh you're going to counter this spell, how about if I remove it from the stack and feed my Beat`Stick".
That Elemental is so damn sexy... :/ sure, I have to waste my own spells to pump it, but if my spells are going to get countered anyways (and exiled, following suit of Disspate and Syncopate), might as well pump Nivmagus! Definately running him as a 2 of main board, 2 of side board in U/R Delver.
The rest is Meh, except Trostani, she can get annoying REAL quick... 8/8 elementals people?

They do, but not DIRECTLY... as what the other person implied....
They do nothing directly to the board state at the moment they get in play, as they dont have come into play abilities.... not that that is a bad thing btw, I like creatures that are scary if left alone....
Although Akroma I would say should not be in that list, maybe same for Strangleroot Geist, seeing as both of those have haste.... and thus can attack the turn you play them...
Edited:
Also, this was in reply to what was said about creatures with Static abilities that dont do anything at the time that you play them.. because removal is always the answer to everything apparently in magical Christmass land....
6 drop with no ability is just never gonna see play, thats my point.
the higher the cost of a creature the more it needs to do. low cost creatures can be "vanilla"(even tho most the 1s u named arnt) and be fine as long as they are efficient.
delver is vanilla but its also a 3/2 for U. which is way above the curve. im sorry but i dont want 4+ drops in my decks that dont actually do anything to the board state when removal and tempo is a dime a dozen.

It is a passive form of counter protection, but it does something else, too. It turns dead removal into face beating. If you are playing against dungrove or traft, your targeted removal is rotting in your hand, but you can "pitch" it to this guy to keep up. It also makes your spells that don't quite "get there" more relevant, like if your opponent has a 3 toughness dude and all you have is a shock. Wraths that would hurt more than they help can now be invested into this guy. It doesn't seem optimal, but it is SO flexible.

What do you mean by vanilla? Are you saying Delver taste good because I look up the dictionary for the word vanilla and cannot for the life of me understand which definition you are using.
I can't tell if Nivmagus elemental is good or not. I guess I'll have to play it and find out. It seems like yet another card that is good against control in what looks to be a meta lacking any good control cards.
Unfortunately every try hard from Sacramento to Shanghai preaches from the top of their 27 lands + Mana Reflection that Tooth and Nail and Time Stretch are fine to play in the same turn but Armageddon is unfair.
It forces it to not resolve. So it counters it without actually countering it. So the whole cycle of uncounterable cards would be hosed by a card meant to hose graveyards instead.
Elemental seems like a neat way to take advantage of your countered spells, or just when you have something you don't really need and recycle it for a couple of counters. Just another reason to believe they are making a big counter card, just because Blue hasn't really shown anything cool, besides a very weak Jace and other mediocre cards. I really hope blue gets something more.
I really like the rakdos guildmage, it's pretty flexible. The Chaos Imps seem nice, although I feel like they should have haste.
Trostani is sweet, and you can really make good use of it it you use it with that 8/8 vigilance token. Good cards overall
Not that spell not but possibly a new spell, it's like the difference between lifelink and this creature gains life whenever it deals damage. Lifelink is essentially the old style but with the old style it can be stacked. Unless they have fixed that since.
Anyway long story short maybe there will be a spell that will do that but dissipate shouldn't.

no. just no.
2. It's not a vanilla creature.
3. It brings no immediate value for the risk that it requires.

Wow, those cards have abilities that don't change the game state? Impressive reading...
