There is a very slim chance that Putrefy and Brainstorm will be in Return to Ravnica, almost 0% chance I would guess.
As for the signets, I would have to say that since we have new art for all of them that they will be in Sinker. There is going to be enough mana fixing in Return & Gatecrash with the Shocks and Gates. So it would make more sense if they showed up in the last block.

I would say that you can be as sure as any card not on the reserved list that Brainstorm will never be reprinted in any Standard legal set. Ever!
Putrefy seems unlikely in the extreme since we already have a very good kill card in Golgari already. Besides, it was part of a pseudo-cycle which means it is less likely to be reprinted in Rav 2.0.
Well, I'll FINALLY be able to check my local Walmart tomorrow. I just hope they still have some IvG in stock (possible, but as I live in a college town, it is very likely that they don't).

If you're having trouble getting cards into the graveyard, perhaps splinterfright or mulch could be added? (Trackers instincts would be great if it were G/B instead of G/U)

Yea, though on the bright side that means that the community is very healthy with people who have disposable income.
I forgot which weekend they were coming out, so I wandered in to my local Kroger owned BBS, and saw them. I picked up two last night, and now I am down to my FLGS to get two more this week so as to give them the business.
Got one for me and one for a buddy last night. I've been modifying them both in various ways. Adding more draw to the Izzet one, and things like Eternal Witness and cheap dredge to the Golgari.
And finally went to Walmart today. It doesn't look like they've even stocked them yet. Should've remembered that this 'Mart usually doesn't stock Magic items until a week after release

The Wal-Marts, targets, and other similar stores (we have a store called Fred Meyer) were stocked with them the week they came out, and the last time I went running around looking for extra copies to buy almost all of them were down to one or two copies, or no copies anymore at all.
LGS around here already have them marked up to 29.99 as well.

Oh yeah, LGS's seem to almost knee-jerkingly release the ones they know are going to be popular or good way above MSRB, and then they sit there on the shelves all shiny for several weeks until all of the other copies are gone. Then you know they are going to jack the price up immediately after.
Weird I got mine the friday it came out but I was worried because I only got to the store around 3 but they still had nearly full stock. I guess some areas will run out of stock faster than others. I know the store owner was suprised when I came in asking to get 4.

IIRC, EvT was $40 locally when it was released. Criminal.
Espeth is a $20 card itself, and Tezz was around $10 at the time. STP and Mishra's Factory bring that up to $42, so while that is a large price increase it is understandable for a shop to go there. Now, some shops do not feel the pressure of the major retailers, so there is nothing to keep them from up-pricing. Frankly, it is the people that pay $40 that are to blame.
To be a little cynical, I'd say people get really adamant about paying $40 for $40 worth of cards + chaff, because they're used to paying $4 for $1 worth of cards + chaff.
Honestly, I'd rather draw a card than sac a guy for B to ping for one. Grim Backwoods at least also activates a Dredge trigger from the graveyard as well.
I think the main issue is the fact that the Golgari deck seems to be much more skill based (and it is a skill that most Magic players don't have (I know I don't): the skill of Dredging).
I'm actually a long time Legacy Dredge pilot and it's not a skill-deficiency problem, but a synergy-deficiency in the Golgari deck. When I play the Golgari deck, I want to curse because there's no self-discard effects like Putrid Imp or Zombie Infestation to facilitate getting Dredgers in the graveyard. I even had an opportunity to DDD (Draw, Discard, Dredge) a Golgari Grave-Troll on turn 1 and still couldn't get a Dredge engine going enough because of a lack of additional discard abilities in the deck. It's simply nigh-impossible to get your Dredge cards into the graveyard efficiently enough to combat the Izzet's Hatchlings and flying creatures combined with creature removal.
Cabal Therapy would be nice to get dredge cards in the yard.

I did try this once, but I never drew enough land or another way to force a discard of the Golgari Grave-Troll to have made the move pan out.
