With epic experiments, are the spells being cast as part of the effect resolving? If so does that mean epic experiments is still on the stack as the effect is resolving? If a reverberate is one of the cards exiled can it target the epic experiments?
OMYGOD! SO GOOOOOOODD!!!! Loving how Epic Experiment has turned my brain to mush. I was just hoping for some more Izzet goodness yesterday for my in-progress Izzet deck. R&D, thank you.
Works interestingly with Devils Play and all the red 'Add x red mana to your pool' instants.
Big Experiment -> Oh, ill cast all these spells and add a zillion mana to my pool... and I um.. wont cast the Devils Play. It goes to my graveyard.
NOW Ill flashback it...
Oh and my Runechanters Pike is... *starts counting*...
The Devil's play will go to the yard either way, so if its relevant you can just cast it for zero, say you have a Wild Defiance out, or your opponent has a Phantasmal Image.

probably not, as the effect happens after resolution. I'd be happy to be wrong though...:D
Don't cast them so they would go to GY. Then Snap for the win!
Why would you do that? You just spent a bunch of mana, possibly tap out, just to SCM the spell and mill yourself? No, you allow the counterspells to go to the 'yard and that's it.

It can but it wont do much good. Experiments will finish resolving and leave the stack. Then when Reverberate tries to resolve, it doesn't have a legal target and is countered upon resolution.

Epic experiment seems really good in modern storm. Play three rituals, cast this for x equals five, reveal ritual, two cantrips and a past in flames, then proceed to win. It makes it far easier to combo off without cantrips in the opening.

Lycanthropy Awareness Day.
Hoping for a cure, or at least an outbreak.

I guess at that point you aren't playing in standard anymore.
My beef is that rage extractor could cost 4, and it set up its own effect. This has neither of those things
Which is a shame, cause I like these kinds of lightning rift cards, I wish this one was just a little better

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.

I just picked two cards off the top of my head that would make a Devil's Play for 0 relevant. There seems to be a misconception that the cards cast will be exiled, so in order to get them in your yard you have to refrain from casting them. You don't.
Goblin Electromancer, Arcane Melee. Build up to a turn 6 Epic Experiment with Infernal Plunge and other mana ramping, then possibly throw most of your library at the opponent and win?

Pyroconvergence is pretty nice as well
Pyroconvergence is this block's red Lightning Rift, Ion Storm, Rebellion of the Flamekin, Burning Vengeance.
I imagine it used to cost less but develoment saw it too powerful and upped it to 5. Too bad.

Of course, I doubt we can cast an overloaded spell for free, but eh.
And the enchantment is ok, though I wonder if there will be a cycle of this.

When it escaped, the experimenters hesitated. It would cause untold havoc, yet they wished to see it in action.

Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
You do know that cards can't exist in two zones at the same time, right? Explain how cards can simultaneously be on the stack, "cast", and exiled.
Staggershock obviously exiles itself permanently and Misthollow Griffin flat out doesn't work. They can't leave exile, right?
