I find it hard to believe that Ringleader costs 4BR. He would be fine at 2BR.
Being able to regenerate for one mana is worth a lot more than it used to be. Unlike the good old days of Drudge Skeletons, there are very few 'can't be regenerated' clauses in Standard. Even Incinerate made way for Searing Spear. Random discard is also better than the standard Specter clause we commonly see.
I can see this card costing five, and agree that there's no Constructed implications at six, but four seems way too low.
No longer Standard legal, but Venser the Sojourner plus the enchantment means you get a permanent every turn by plussing him. Not exactly terrible rate since it really just means the enchantment has to survive a turn to start scooping your opponents board.
Man I can't wait to start cracking packs. I was wasn't around for ravnica so this is like a early Christmas for me. Enchantment seems kinda good for edh the creature is very meh at best good limited card I guess.
Should be "neither own NOR control." C'mon wizards, you gotta proof read.

Some facts of magic:
-Terror is an emotion which, when experienced, results in death.
-The pox was a disease notorious for having killed one-third, rounded up, of Europe’s population. Smallpox, on the other hand, killed only a single person.
-A person riding a horse cannot be stopped by foot soldiers, large animals, walls, archers, or even catapults.
Just noticed that Currency combos with Venser. Swap, exile currency, and it's on your field, ready to roll again. Not a practical combo, but workable in a casual environment, at least.
Rakdos Ringleader seems rather dear (by one), as does Conjured Currency (by, what, two or three), and sad. Conjured Currency is much too build-around-me, and its effect doesn't seem that worthwhile to be built around.
Is RtR as an expansion supposed to slow or fast? What about Standard or whatever themselves (fast, right, what with all the spotlight on aggro?)?
Wouldn't that enchantment suddenly be several times more fun is if it was "when x comes into play and at the begining of your upkeep" I doubt it would suddenly become broken and it would probably be a lot more fun.
I fear I won't have much time to play Magic these days.
I get to watch worlds develop around me.
I get to watch great leaders, terrible oppressors, and trend setters rise and fall.
Limited, Standard, Modern, everything is a different playing field I feel I can observe, but will not actually touch.
I look forward to the stories I will hear.
And more so to the ones I will watch unfold first hand.
Isn't the unknown exciting?
Conjured Currency is obviously meant for the multiplayer crowd. It is very funky in multiplayer. The nice thing is that you can't get back what people stole from you (because you own that permanent), so you have to take something else.
So effectively every turn some permanents switch sides.
I like it a lot. Not tournament worthy by a long shot, but VERY fun for EDH and whatnot.
No, this new card triggers on damaging your opponent -- not on being blocked.
well then, now that im done looking at spoilers, i am going to go learn to read!

If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
Well, that's no Mind Control that's for sure. I suppose if you're playing the GWU Selesnya-Azorius deck you might be able to get away with it, grabbing their best guy and leaving them to pick from one of your tokens or ETB Detain men. It gets crazier in multiplayer obviously.

Conjured Currency 5U Rare
Enchantment
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may exchange control of Conjured Currency and target permanent you neither own or control
GL all in prereleases and see you at Gatecrash
This is such a funny card.
For those who don't get it because it's written so simply; if Conjured Currency is never destroyed, eventually you will control all the permanents your opponent owns and your opponent will control all the permanents you own.
A very elegantly worded card for such a misleading effect.
I like it, casually speaking.
(Of course, everything kind of changes in multiplayer. Then it's just people swapping cards around.)
At first I thought Conjured Currency was such a terribly unplayable card, but after thinking about it, I think it's one of the most powerful cards of the set. Don't get all crazy thinking I'm trying to say it's a GOOD card, but it can make the game very one-sided if you have the right deck.
Consider a control deck that only plays a few bomb threats with this card. If you don't play any permanents besides 3 said bombs and land, this steals their best card per turn while they get a land. You won't even need the land once you have all their threats and you certainly won't need it to play your own bombs since they would just get stolen.
TLDR; At first I was mad about the stupid enchantment, but now I realize its power and you should too
Edit: I didn't see that it had a may clause. At worst, it's a permanent Volition Reins; that is, if the opponent chooses not to swap it for land on their turns. Reins costs 3UUU but untaps and takes effect instantly. 5U for Currency, but it's a turn slower for effect and might limit card choices from retaliation.
Since no one has said this, i guess i will.. Since you exchange control of the enchantment, doesnt your opponent get the effect at their upkeep? And since youre stealing at the beginning of turn, the creature, should you take one, wouldnt have haste. How is this any good?
EDIT, since it says own, once your opponent steals your best card, you cant get it back. This seems more silly than good

What were you expecting than??? Every to be most OP **** ever. There is a lot of solid cards and staples in this set plus you need some cards for draft / sealed slots.

I've got a question regarding the wording on this card.
Shouldn't it be written as: "At the beginning of your upkeep, you may exchange control of Conjured Currency and target permanent you neither own nor control", or would that make no difference in terms of how it functions?
Anyhow, the best I can come up with myself is a game in the top 8 of a PTQ back during Urza block in which we were starting game 3 with time already expired, so the tiebreaker rule was that whoever had more life after 3 turns would win. And I lost to... healing salve.
Does anyone feel like Wizards crapped on the rakdos guild? which cards from the rakdos guild do you think will see play?:o
Uhm...Who really cares if they printed a couple crappy cards which were obviously only designed for limited play? Every block has fodder like that, and they do that with every set, color, and guild. That being said, we should all focus our energy, attention, and criticisms on playable cards designed for constructed formats.
For the first time ever they printed a card with 2 CMC that reads "destroy target PLANESWALKER (or creature)"!... and you're complaining?
Moving on...Even though the cards aren't selected randomly, Rakdos's Return is virtually a mind twist with direct damage built right in, and Rakdos himself is an absolute monster! A 6/6 flying trample for four mana with a negligible drawback/casting prerequisite which also reduces the casting cost of subsequently cast creatures! I dunno about you, but that is pretty damn sweet in my opinion. If you don't think so you're either blind, spoiled, or both.
