And boom goes the crappy mythic dynamite. I don't recall seeing blue sun's played, and I doubt this will see play either. Boyohboy this is the worst one yet. I like the wurm more than this generic draw spell.
USZ saw a lot of play in UW and UB control - this is much better

I hate whomever was in charge of balancing this set.
Blightning was amazing (loved hearing people talk about how it doesn't effect the board and so was unplayable; spoilers never change). BSZ was however mediocre at best. This works much better against aggro and is easier to cast. It's not like in constructed being able to target another player or the shuffle in effects were significant.

Or you could say blue get's a worse Divination. Are you seriously comparing one X spell to another and then trying to compare an X spell to a 3 mana spell?
I bet the GW mythic will be like GWX Put X 1/1 green saproling creature tokens into play, or distribute X +1/+1 counters among any number of target creatures.

It’s like the universe screams in your face, “Do you know what I am? How grand I am? How old I am? Can you even comprehend what I am? What are you, compared to me?” And when you know enough science, you can just smile up at the universe and reply, “Dude, I am you.”
The Revelation is pretty good. If there is a decent control deck, this has to play a part, seeing as card draw is pretty lackluster outside of this.
In an odd way, this card seems to be EASIER to cast than Blue Sun's Zenith in decks that would want to play it.

This guy, would either eat up several turns worth of mana to get a slow permanent that relies on your already have some board presence (after wasting said mana), or dies without generating any advantage.
Im so happy they are finally revealing Blue Cards from this set...The whole first week of spoilers were all Green and Black cards...Nice to see this switch to the Azorius and Izzet love.

It's not better than Zenith. Zenith shuffles in, allowing you to run less copies and reuse them. This is a decent card, but it's not better.
I think you are dismissing the lifegain too quickly. It is a nice added effect and can be quite relevant, since gaining a few life here and there help drag the game longer.
As a side note, this card is appropriately costed for what it does.
Ugh, just spoil Rackdos already so we can briefly consider its standard unplayability and move on. I will trade anything for this awkward blue sun. Worst rare so far to me.

wayfaring temple, guild feud, cryptborn horror, the list can keep going on and on.
This is good in UW control alongside their new wrath and Detention Sphere.
This is very much a role player in that deck. The life gain does indeed make the card maindeckable as does Gilded Lotus in standard alongside it
I will say this, after looking closer at the card of Stealer of Secrets, her body may be hot, but her face is... not that great. I dunno, maybe its just the angle... or just me...
As far as actual card goes though, I wish she'd been 2/2 for UU, or something. But then she might not have been a common. At common, shes very good.
Revelation I can see running. I really like it. I might just have to play UW-control. The lifegain, as has been said already, makes it very good against aggro, as well as maindeckable.
Anyways, I doubt the Sphinx will see play, I mean, you'll be paying 5 for 2 cards and 2 life, and that's pretty expensive for UW decks..
The advantage of this is instant speed; you can keep counter mana up for their entire turn, and then at end of turn when they can no longer play non-instants you can cast this knowing you've dodged most things worth countering.
Instant card draw is significantly more powerful just because of blue and counterspells. Being sorcery speed is a large part of why divination is considered a bad constructed card; if they printed 1UU instant draw 2 it would be played in a normal meta.
Funny thing is, whichever is played first gets countered by the second

And limited card is good for limited.
Selesnya's mythic will be friends with benefits?

Ugh, I bet the shock lands are going to be pricey for UW though

How often did you need more than 1 USZ? The lifegain is extremely relevant if youre going to maindeck it.

I'd love a "populate X times" spell. Seems pretty neat.
