I'm just saying everywhere it's written but on the card people are writing Justicar. The card should probably be listed under it's proper name in the spoiler. Don'cha think?

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
I really want to like Vraska, but I can't get over how silly she seems. Her art is nice but not great, she competes with a lot of other 5 slots in B/G that I just prefer, and her flavor is plain ludicrous. I almost can't wait to see the next incarnation of her, where does three other seemingly random things that all just elude to her being a bigger ***** than any character we've seen so far. Seriously, she's just the wicked witch. It doesn't help that I feel like as soon as I put her in the deck, any premise or theme behind the build goes out the window, because I've just shoved in some random Gorgon Queen that just thinks that everyone should die.
Maybe it's just too much to process right now. I want one, but I don't know if I want to use it or just sit there and laugh at it.
I was also quite pleased by the Dead Reveler, just because having a super splashable 3/4 for 2B at common that just can't block seems pretty good in retrospect.
How is she a *****? Her spark was ignited because she was almost beaten to death, and then she was flung into a plane of nightmarish emptiness, all caused by an unjustified raid on the Golgari tunnels. She's out for revenge, and she's been given the tools to do it.
+1: Face her, strike her, and you won't again.
-3: She won't wait for you to strike.
-7: She will assure you death secure.

I fear I won't have much time to play Magic these days.
I get to watch worlds develop around me.
I get to watch great leaders, terrible oppressors, and trend setters rise and fall.
Limited, Standard, Modern, everything is a different playing field I feel I can observe, but will not actually touch.
I look forward to the stories I will hear.
And more so to the ones I will watch unfold first hand.
Isn't the unknown exciting?
Well, I was right about the gorgon planeswalker. Just wrong about the gorgon's name, haha. I think she will see play, but I don't think it will be in a tier 1 deck.
someday I'll get this wurm out on turn five, and I will finally be recognized as the man who wasted a lot of time and effort to prove some people wrong on the internet. it will be a glorious day.
I'd like her even more if her -2 had been "land creature or planeswalker" and she was monoblack, but I guess we can't have everything, just sad sad liliana remakes.
Shes the kind of girl thats better looking when you're stoned
I really hope that joke was intentional. Like if it wasn't I'm going to be really disappointed because that's the best pun I've heard in the last month.

that guy that said she's gonna redefine standard (the next jace were his exact words) is either trolling or doesn't play competitive magic.
This!
It's the ultimate noob impulse to see a card like this and think "Jace." There's barely a comparison besides card type as their functions are so different, and there are just better ways to say "good planeswalker" than to compare it to the most mistakenly overpowered one.
I really think the comparison to Gideon is more apt. Both have high toughness and force your opponent to lose guys in an attempt to kill them. On an empty board, both have a secondary setting--Vraska can kill things or build to her ultimate, and Gideon can swing for 6 a turn.

On MTGO as Protoman.
On 7/14/10, broke 1900 mark! <3 ROE.
The planeswalker is very sweet and I need a Foil for my cube 10 minutes ago.
With that said, the card DOES NOT seem like a standard playable, unless something weird happens.
If you're behind, this card isnt going to help you. If you're ahead, this might work out.
That is not the hallmark of a good/great card.

This guy, would either eat up several turns worth of mana to get a slow permanent that relies on your already have some board presence (after wasting said mana), or dies without generating any advantage.
Vrasaka might just be best in creature decks. You will force them to block 1/1's when they have to block your 3/3's to stay alive on your alpha swing.
If thats what youre doing with 5 mana and 3 turns, you're doing it wrong. Instead, play a Wolfir Silverheart in the exact same converted mana cost and win the game.

If you are ahead and drop this you've probably won the game against any creature strategy. If you are behind at least it vindicates and survives. That is better than most walkers. It is a very good and playable card. It isn't snapcaster or delver level though.
......I thought Ludmilla was the only gorgon left on Ravnica after her sisters died in the fight after the whole golgari guildmaster power struggle mess? Who is this and where did she come from?
Have a helicopter drop you off out front. Light your cigar with a small Indonesian boy holding a black lotus. Then bust out a craw wurm deck with no sleeves. Raw dog shuffle, loose terribly, flip the table, leave in a hovercraft.

I just want to take a moment to pay some respect to the OTHER two cards, here.
Another CIP detain, one that hits 2 things. Costs four mana, and doesn't fly with 3 power... and other 4 CMC guys include the angel that makes detain potentially broken. Still, definitely a high pick in limited.
Oh, hell. Look at that. A 3 CMC common unleash guy that's worth it. 3/4 can't block for 3? Yes, I will take that.
Oh, I'm not on beats? Well, a 2/3 for 3 in BLACK is still certainly nothing to sneeze at in limited.
