Given the rampant speculation (baseless, in my opinion) of a Gorgon PW being spoiled in tomorrow's Uncharted Realms, here's the preview image for it:
Is this art known?
Well, the speculation isn't baseless. It, indeed, does have a base because in the story there was a Gorgon who seemed to planeswalk, and there is also evidence of a Golgari planeswalker via MaRo.
This isn't very strong evidence, but it DOES have a base.

This guy, would either eat up several turns worth of mana to get a slow permanent that relies on your already have some board presence (after wasting said mana), or dies without generating any advantage.

This. I think we will find out with tomorrow's article.
someday I'll get this wurm out on turn five, and I will finally be recognized as the man who wasted a lot of time and effort to prove some people wrong on the internet. it will be a glorious day.

That's pretty strong evidence. The only better evidence would be an actual leak of the card.
@Fnord What makes you say it's baseless? I would have pegged you to be on board by the Uncharted Realms article with the gorgon mysteriously vanishing during an emotionally tense moment.

Not really. Even if there is a Gorgon planeswalker (which I will not speculate on with the amount of evidence we have) there is nothing to say that this article will in fact spoil the Gorgon. It can spoil any number of things, particularly because we havent even gotten the whole story yet!
tl;dr Even if there is a Gorgon planeswalker, it doesnt have to be spoiled in this article.

Basically, I see the Shadow of Prahv article as a background piece on the Azorius, not the intro story for a Golgari walker. I see the "mysterious vanishing" as the natural death due to exposure to sunlight. There was some discussion in the Gorgon walker thread last night.
I don't think that a Gorgon walker is unlikely; I just very much doubt that the article is about her.
The preview image makes the 'walker preview even more unlikely in my opinion, since previewed walkers tend to get top billing.
Dead Can Revel, in my opinion, is much more Golgari than Rakdos. Even that art looks Golgari to me.

I would love to know how the title of a flavor article can possibly give you any hint as to the rarity of the preview card that is going to be shown, let alone anything else about it. If the preview card were a mythic then would the flavor article have a flashier title? It's a little ridiculous.

First, the planeswalker preview card in this article is hopeful anticipation. Yeah, they can throw us in a loop and switch topics. The night it went up I was expecting Planeswalker's Guide to Ravnica: Part 2. I don't know what the hell they're doing over there. MaRo (supposedly) doesn't even know when they're previewing the 'walker. That doesn't take away from the actual 'walker speculation.
As someone who has relentlessly checked every planeswalker speculation thread, this is the most slam dunk, evidence backed 'walker of them all.

That was the general consensus when we first read the article. That was also my take when I skimmed through it. Is there any precedence for gorgons dying to sunlight?
I honestly doubt well see any planeswalkers tonight. Theyve alreeady spoiled a fair number of mythics, and the prerelease is still aways away, theres plenty of time for the rest of the hype. Show me a first pickable common, something ill actually be drafting

I fear I won't have much time to play Magic these days.
I get to watch worlds develop around me.
I get to watch great leaders, terrible oppressors, and trend setters rise and fall.
Limited, Standard, Modern, everything is a different playing field I feel I can observe, but will not actually touch.
I look forward to the stories I will hear.
And more so to the ones I will watch unfold first hand.
Isn't the unknown exciting?

Vraska is by far my favorite PW now, even overshadowing Liliana.
God damn do I need so many copies of her...

The art is from a different article. But yes, it could be Golgari
It's because it's the Limited column.

Ah I see, it's two different articles. My fault for skimming, I apologize then, my mistake.
