Finally another non-human walker!
Now if we could only get something a little more exotic... like a Wurm.
Quote from stickman326Its Ultimate is so anti-synergistic with Scavenge that it would never happen. And aside from that, its -2 is so incredible weak (not to mention its +1) that this is all around just never going to work. Dont get me wrong, its ultimate is awesome and is appropriately costed with its other abilities, but that being said, its other abilities are far far too weak for this to be printed. And again its ultimate is anti synergistic with ITS GUILD MECHANIC. Never gonna happen
Quote from MegatronShe is not necessarily Golgari, like Jace is not Izzet, despite his connection to Niv. Also look at Isperia whose ability is not very synergistic with her guild mechanic.
Quote from LandridYeah but hipster guild leader is hipster. She was drawing cards before it became cool.
Quote from fnordIt's a story about the Azorius and their interactions with other guilds. In the first part, the main characters are Azorius and they interact with Golgari prisoners. In the second part, the main character is an Azorius who gets a letter from a Boros friend. In both cases, the focus is on the Azorius and what they do.

Oh, I thought he was talking about playing a spell that is countering a spell with counters on it as it comes into play, but I see you guys were just discussing whether he was flashing a creature with flash in order to flash a flashback or just flashing a creature with flash but not needing flash in order to flashback a spell without flash.
Quote from SoulflameOf course exceptions can be made, but it would seem that if she is a gold card, she would get a watermark (most likely Golgari then), which seems a bit odd, a Planeswalker with a watermark (or has this happened in the past?)
Quote from GreyDeckWinsAs far as the watermark goes, Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas was in Mirrodin Beseiged and didn't get one while every other card that wasn't a basic land got one. I believe that sets a precedent of planeswalkers being neutral in that respect, regardless of their storyline affiliations (Tezzeret was mingling with the Phyrexians but still didn't get a mark). Not to mention planeswalkers are portrayed as being well-heeled and able to traverse the Multiverse without being anchored to a single plane/guild. So I'm predicting no watermark for our pending 'walker.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
Quote from hawk1674"Why are you tapping your lands the wrong way?"
He was explaining that you ALWAYS tap your lands to the left to show they have been used. He even taught his kids - Always to the left.
Quote from King Punyour friend should engrave "always to the left" on his epiTAPh
seriously, is your friend part of the gestapo?
Quote from JivanmuktaI hate casual players. I'd rather watch magic die than see them happy.
Quote from luminum canThey could show that she has become the new guildmaster in Sinker. And there will be an e-novel for the block's story, as well.
Quote from TasaPLEASE WOTC.. GIVE US A DECENT PW ONE TIME...
SINCE Liliana of the Veil you gave us just crap
Quote from ghetaI just thought of something that might be cool that they could do in this set.
What if hybrid walkers had 4 abilities that worked like this:
+2: Do something
-1: If you payed B to cast this pw, do something
-1: If you payed G to cast this pw, do something
Or they could have 3 that combined doing something depending on the colors you've used to play him/her.
Using this method, they could have almost made both the normal Ajani and furious Ajani in one card =P
Quote from asianskunk5Makes complete sense if you read the last Uncharted Realms article. It tells a story of a gorgon prisoner that vanished in a flash of light, leaving only her imprint on the ground behind. Planeswalking, anyone?
