Not all that bad. It may never get actual damage through by the time it first drops, but it self-repeats on some level (sure, it's not Bloodghast, but what do you expect?). Probably still limited-only, though.

It's too expensive and fragile to be much use as a recyclable creature, so the better use for it is going to be as a way to feed a discard outlet. Maybe useful with all the looting red's been getting?
A perfect card for any pox-style deck, serves both as a discard fodder early on and later becomes your win condition. Sadly, there is no pox deck in standart or modern. Although loam might be interested in this.

I think with all the black cards fetching swamps, a smallpox deck would be interesting, since in a zombie shell, you have methods for recovering from all the self inflicted damage. With that said, Delver is probably the only deck that would actually only have 1 creature out at any given time, most other decks have multiple out.

To be honest, I would still call it bad
It's general discard fodder that can be reused. I'm certain there's some black decks that can use it. Yeah, it's narrow, but it's also interesting.
I mean, there are worse things. It could be overcosted and boring.
I one-up you with Life from the Loam and Zombie Infestation.

It's a fine grind-out card in limited. It deals a lot of damage per hit, and they have to block it eventually. Seems fine.

I would hope common, but I am guessing uncomoon. Recurring creatures are almost always Uncommon or better. We shall see

On the expensive side, but I would consider playing this in Limited. 4 power is big and it just keeps coming back.
