Does the enchantment clause stack? Say, 3 enchantments= 3 permanents, etc? He's pretty bad otherwise, the UB one is pretty good. I'm thinking fae/wizard/ninja.
It doesn't stack. It just checks whether he's enchanted or not, not the number of Auras attached to him.
What puzzles me is that Vela has intimidate and says "Other creatures you control have intimidate", while Maelstrom Wanderer does not have haste, but says "Creatures you control have haste".
Wizards should decide once and for all if lords should be able to grant abilites to themselves.

By default, the method used on Vela is used whenever possible. The Maelstrom Wanderer is cramped for text space, though, due to the length of the reminder text of cascade, so a concession can be made for practicality's sake. And besides, haste only matters for a single turn in the vast majority of situations, so it's a bit less important that it stand out on the card (same reason tokens don't have haste printed on them even for cards that make tokens with haste).
Love the art for Krond, but it's Vela that will have a home in my decks.
Was there ever a number given for how many brand new cards we'll be seeing in this release?
Yes, 21 new cards total, with each deck have 6 new cards. Obviously that works out to there being some new cards in multiple decks; if I had to guess, I'd say that new planeswalking mana rock is probably in every deck, with 5 other unique new cards in each deck.
If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
Some automatic extrapolations we can make from this:
1. Krond is clearly in the Savage Auras deck, and Vela is clearly in the Ninja deck.
2. It seems LIKELY that the Mythic Legendary Creatures are the only Mythic Rares in each deck, and also LIKELY that they define the Color Identity of each deck. (Still holding out for 5-colored Cascade deck but....probably, if I was told to bet money right now....not.)
3. Savage Auras = GW; Night of the Ninja = UB; Chaos Reigns = URG; Primordial Hunger = RB or RBG or WBR*
Case for RB Primordial Hunger- Rumored Devour theme, Green already has two decks.
Case for RBG Primordial Hunger- Rumored Devour theme, two 3-color decks and two 2-color decks, established 'Jund' color identity
Case for RBW Primordial Hunger- Each color gets represented exactly twice.
Further, I could be mistaken, but I *think* Riku of Two Reflections and Kaalia of the Vast, of the 10 new 3-colored Legends from last Summer's Commander product, may have been the most popular. One is the Timmiest Card Ever and the other is the Johnniest Card Ever, so this makes sense. They are both sort of the Vorthosest Card Ever. Of course each other Commander Legend has its own merits and its own fanbase accordingly, but these two REALLY hit the sweet spots for lots, LOTS of players. Kaalia got SO juiced by AVR- this might mean they think she has enough juice, or it might mean Wizards thinks we like it when Kaalia gets juice. Either statement is true lol. And Riku is juiced by....juice. He's stupid. In a great way. I don't think it's possible to design a set of Magic that doesn't juice Riku in a Big Way. He's just designed to be Essence of Juice. This is a long way of suggesting that for the 3-colored decks, they decided to support the most popular Commanders? maybe?
So that might be a good sign that Primordial Hunger is WBR, not BRG. Maybe. I kind of think it's odd that White is 'Savage' but it seems to work for Kond, so don't discount the chance that 'Primordial' could be White as well, for wonky color balance reasons.
All that said, if Wizards doesn't mind imbalancing the colors because it's 4 decks, not 5- then we can be almost positive it WILL be traditional Jund BRG
I am probably every color-combination it is possible to be, though it's really hard to figure out what it would mean to be 4-colored....it doesn't seem logical to be 4-colored without being 5-colored.
i love how people will feel identified with their zodiac symbol(libra) cuz of the art of the WG dude.
the girl has that messy/disturbing feeling UB control always has.
in my opinion i like the WG guy best, since it says "have fun, and make a deck around me"
not just " im soon going to kill you all with a nasty un-fun combo"

The "Savage" in Savage Auras likely comes from the color green. And if it has a Totem Armor theme as speculated, that also makes sense with the name.
Only one deck with white in it would be iffy, but then again, only one of the original Planechase decks and only one of the Archenemy decks had any blue. And Primordial Hunger doesn't sound even remotely related to the color white. Jund colors, almost certainly.

Yeah, I do see your points there. It's just, Magic is so much about balancing the Color Wheel, I figured they do it wherever possible. I can't exactly explain why, but Kaalia actually feels somewhat 'Primordial' to me, leaning more to the Wrath of God side of White than to the Healing Salve side, you know?
GW 'Savage' Auras though, make more sense with Totem Armor, than
WBR would for ~ 'Hunger'. Hunger sounds very very Green. A little Black too, but mostly Green.
It looks like White is getting slightly shafted here.
In hindsight, considering Avacyn Restored......makes perfect sense.

Holy crap, Wizards, please, please never print a card with triplecolortriplecolor mana cost again outside of hybrid mana.
Aside from that horrendous mana cost on Krond, they're both pretty neat. Neither are cards I want to use for EDH though (thankfully. I have enough EDH decks).

Considering one of those colors is GREEN, and considering Somberwald Druid just got printed, you can still play him on turn 4 in mono-green without either Lotus Cobra or Birds of Paradise -.-
Just sayin. It's not really all that difficult bein' green in MTG.

Thank you for the explanation. I still think the method used on Maelstrom Wanderer is more elegant, though.
I feel like we're stepping into some plane's folklore. I hope we at least learn where these two come from.

I collect Legendary cards, Planeswalkers, and Sagas.
Current count of different Legends: 1314
Current count of different Planeswalkers: 213

I love Vela for ninja. Make your dudes hard to block and then bouncing them (with Ninjutsu, etc...) deals damage? That's so cool! If you get two creatures with Ninjutsu you can chain bounce them too for lots of damage and EtB shenanigans.
I also love Vela for a rats stradegy. Thrumming Stone + Relentless Rats might have found a new commander..."Fine, Wrath me. I'll still win!"
Balthor (current commander) or Mikeaus (backup commander) might still be better...but blue gives me access to Fabricate etc...
I definitely love Vela, and she is probably my favourite Blue-Black Legendary creature. Also, maybe it's just me but every time I take a look at Krond's artwork my mind just wants to tell me that he is on Bant, lol.
