Tragic slip is the possibly best removal spell ever printed.
So many applications. Gets around indestructible, is an instant, makes chump blockers scary. Wow. Good card is good. Oh, and it loves sac outlets. 0 down side besides you losing a creature. But I'd gladly loose a 2/2 to get rid of an eldrazi/prime time/ sphinx.

The EDH stax primer When you absolutely, positively got to kill every permanent in the room, accept no substitutes.
It's a -1/-1 removal for 1. Which is okay. It lacks recursion like geistflame or being free as gutshot. It is worse than wring flesh without morbid. This removal spell is a blowout with snapcaster enabling it. Otherwise it is pretty marginal. Decent overall. Let's see how things pan out.
A monoB deck based on Mikaeus as recursion-maker, some sack-creature like devouring swarm that will active tragic slip and phyrexian obliterator as the finisher

@ gli utenti italiani: contattatemi per scambiare!
Anyone else seriously annoyed by the whole sacrifice human thing?
I mean, yeah it was cool the first time I saw it on a rare. Got a little old after the first few rares, but still kinda cool. Now it just seems like they're throwing it on every evil looking card in the set.
It's cool, it's flavorful, but at the end of the day it's still just a gimmick.

It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.

Tragic slip feels awesome, use it to kill a one drop early, or have a token do some chump blocking and kill anything. Also gives snapcaster mage more shenanigans; give the slip flashback and chumpblock then kill anything that needs to die.
I also approve of the 1 cost devil. It's so good at what it does.

Found myself agreeing with most of this post about Cavern of souls and countermagic.
May I present you Dispatch?
Dispatch has:
* worse no-activation effect
* let's say that the same chance to activate additional effect
* only a bit better activation effect, since it does not trigger graveyard triggers
Still is heavily played in metalcraft deck, in Tier1. Targic Slip is bonkers, and I am afraid that you are terribly wrong if you don't think so. Wish you good luck in dying to it in limited
With 4239084 removals and sac outlets in black color? I doubt it's a problem. Or even after combat phase. In B/W tokens. There is a high possibility that your token will die in combat.
The difference being metalcraft is a continuous state. Morbid is an until the end of turn state. Metalcraft is reliable because of the tempered steel deck it goes into. Also without metalcraft activated on dispatch makes it in awful card. I like this tragic slip. It's decent with no morbid beautiful with. It is a decent card that offers snapcaster better use.
This. So much this... I'm getting sick of that dismember test.
Other than that, once again I can't believe how flavorful and perfect the morbid mechanic fits in the Innistrad block. On a plane where the horror lurks in every shadow and behind every corner it is exactly that feeling that morbid expresses. You don't know what happens if something dies, somehow you are in constant fear what might happen if you are going to win an obvious trade.
Tragic Slip: First-pick removal in Limited, for sure. Morbid is easiest to enable on cards that are A) instants, and B) cheap. This will be easy-peasy, and kills basically everything. Similar power level to Doom Blade in draft, maybe better in this format. Should be playable in standard, at least to some extent, but I'll refrain from speculating any further than that until I've tried it out.
Skirsdag Flayer: Limited bomb. Even it it just sacrifices itself, it's only slightly off of just being an expensive removal spell, and those are generally decent-to-great. The potential to machine gun down your opponent's creatures if you have human tokens and they don't have removal is a huge upside.
Gravetiller Wurm: Limited playable, probably a pretty good one. I don't think it's an actual bomb, though. Remember how much trouble you had getting your Morkrut Banshees to fire reliably? This costs 1 more mana, so it's inherently harder to set up Morbid for it (though I don't think we can say yet whether morbid will be easier/harder to set up overall with DKA in the mix). A 4/4 trample for 6 is pretty bad, though an 8/8 trample is a major threat and quite the upside.
I think I'd still rather have Skaab Goliath most of the time. Probably easier to set up, effectively the same size for most practical purposes, is a zombie instead of a non-monster non-human (probably a net positive), etc.
I like that Devil. In limited it's a one-mana Morbid enabler, guaranteeing you the full effect of Brimstone Volley or Gravetiller Wurm... or Tragic Slip
Tragic Slip is actually very comedic.
Apparently the silliest way to kill a Blightsteel Colossus is to trip it with one of your creature's corpses.
"FLERP DERP WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Talons of Falkenrath: Hey, Firebreathing with Flash? Big old meh here, last-pick almost always.
Don't think of it as Firebreathing. Think of it as Enrage that incidentally sticks around afterwords as a Firebreathing. Even if the card was nothing but a slightly-harder-to-cast enrage, that'd save it from last-pick status. That it has additional flexibility is only an added bonus. It doesn't have quite the oops-you-lose potential that Untamed Might did, but it's in the same vein.
Some nice limited fodder, the only 2 new cards that jump out as having constructed potential are-
Tragic Slip: It nicely fills the Wring Flesh slot while potentially being a 1cc removal for nearly any creature. It's particularly nice with Snapcaster Mage allowing for plays like- Play snapcaster before blockers giving Slip flashback, block/trade snapcaster on an attacker, after combat flashback Slip killing threat of choice. Alternatively just play slip killing a 1 toughness creature then play snapcaster and flash it back to kill a titan level creature.
Forge Devil- not as obviously powerful as Slip but there are a lot of good 1 toughness creatures around at the moment and a Gutshot attached to a 1/1 is pretty good for just R even if it does Gutshot you as well.
