Because conservative bias is a far, far worse thing. Liberal bias doesn't, statistically speaking, make people stupid. Conservative bias (or at least Fox's version of it) does.
In what universe? If you build a deck like that, and ever draw that hand, I will personally come to wherever you live, perform complicated acts of awestruck ********, then disembowel myself to escape the world that allowed something like this to occur and validate you.
if this is true there's finally a fnm promo worth going to fnm for. maybe wizards finally realized that players want good promos

Hooray for a promo which is not only really good but isn't rotating straight away.
That said with Tempered Steel decks being a strong contender in standard and no black creatures apart from Grave Titan seeing any play, Doom Blade is the choice for 2cc black removal at the moment.
Oh well, hopefully later in Innistrad the vampires or the zombies could be a viable deck and make Go for the Throat playable again.
