The more I think about it, the more I come realize that Time in Flames, Infernal Plunge, Kuldotha Rebirth, and Burning Vengeance are going to be absolutely silly in the same deck.
Smite the Montrous also loses a comparison to Radiant's Judgment. I'm getting that they are weakening creature removal for limited for this set, so the monsters can do their dirty work. Should be fun :).
I'm somewhat surprised Smite the Monstrous doesn't at least have flashback (of like 5W), as they're usually pretty good about maintaining a consistent value on specific effects. There is every indication that they tried to tone down removal a good deal, but it's still a little odd to see them straight up at two colorless to an effect that wasn't very powerful to begin with.
Victim of Night seems really strong for a common, even at BB.
It's very safe and smart at common. It's usefulness in Limited won't be near that of most black removal, especially with the impact Werewolves should have in draft/sealed.
For limited, it is a bomb, and it also common. Don't get me wrong, Reprisal is better than it in every aspect (cost PLUS another utility), but at common, in sealed, it can be a breaker of multiple occurrences. It should have had flashback at :5mana::symw: tho, lol.

Smite the Monstrous- a strictly worse Reprisal... I would have rather seen Reprisal to give White more ways to deal with Titans, but this will stay completely in Limited.
Sensory Deprivation- Meh. Limited fodder
Victim of Night- This card is insane, especially at common. I think in MBC, this is better than Doom Blade or GftT. This will see a lot of play.
Infernal Plunge- Dark Rit with drawback? Pretty good. I don't know how much play it will see in standard, but I'm guessing Modern will break it.
Ambush Viper- How is this common? Now I'm going to have to wade through 2-4 of these things in Limited? That sounds like fun....
I don't think it should've had flashback. Call that a hunch, mostly, over how they want Limited to function. We didn't get much anti-fatty removal in Rise of the Eldrazi, as I recall. Vendetta was arguably the best at it (yes, yes, Corpsehatch was pro), with Heat Ray second, but you didn't get any direct "okdienow" cards for a typical removal suite in Limited. It was far more about working your critters. I'm hoping it's the same here, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I am glad there shouldn't be flashback.
It's very safe and smart at common. It's usefulness in Limited won't be near that of most black removal, especially with the impact Werewolves should have in draft/sealed.
That's valid, I was thinking of non-limited applications though and that this dilutes the value of GFTT a bit.
Ok i have a few problems here mostly the reprisal reprint for more mana. Thats just not right, why not reprint reprisal? The victim of night is a great card!!! If your meta is devoid of those three tribes then you should run this if you are a black mage!!!! The green snake is smexy and green removal is great!!! The plunge is pretty good in the right deck!!! Use it with low casting cost creatures!!
Smite the Monstrous- It's Reprisal for 2 extra mana, useless for constructed but a great piece of removal for limited.
Sensory Deprivation- Another limited only card, a nice piece of quasi removal for blue.
Victim of Night- It's like Rend Flesh or Eyeblights Ending but cheaper and with 3 creature types it can't kill. In limited it's removal but it'll be painful not being able to kill 3 of the main innistrad tribes, in constructed it doesn't stand a chance against Doom Blade, Go for the Throat and Dismember.
Infernal Plunge- It's a much weaker(sorcery speed and 1 less mana) colour shifted version of Culling the Weak. Probably won't cut it in constructed but any ritual effect is worth keeping an eye on.
Ambush Viper- While it can be used for other things this will almost always read 1G instant destroy target attacking creature(without flying, first/double strike, protection, unblockability...) and that's pretty good. The casting cost is also pretty good and it might even have been worth considering for standard if green decks didn't already have access to Beast Within and Dismember. That said it's a fairly high pick green removal spell for limited.
138 is the number the source gave me. It may be wrong. *shrug*
R Citizen Cane (Feldon of the Third Path)
Turn 2 lots of cool things. Iron Myr makes a T3 Inferno Titan.
Ninja Snake and the wordy BB removal spell seem cool.

Victim of the night is probably going to be quiet good in a lot of formats except block
Black and white sure are getting some good removal options. As long as I do not see path to exile I'm happy

Thoughts on proxies:
That's some expensive white removal but hey, it's white removal.
You do realize that Bushwhacker rotates out when Innistrad rotates in right?
