Random thought here... Could it be possible that the ultimate ability of Garruk, the Walker self-sacrifices and puts a Garruk creature token into play? This, then being the token art representing when he has lost control and completely succumb to the curse... Just a thought...
Garruk is looking a lot like a R berserker in this picture, i think it's a pump spell.
I think hes has R in this picture as well and hopefully he turns into a werewolf :D. Look closely at his facial hair its growing like a human turning into a werewolf.
This looks soo Undead looking, I didn't think that the corruption that Lilianna gave to Garruk was up to this extent. This looks BG but only time will tell. Can't wait for ISD to come.
#1 - What's the dumbest idea you ever had?
#2 - 15/15 for 15?
#1 - Make it dumber
#2 - Give it protection from removal and counter?
#1 - DUMBER!
#2 - Add Timewalk?
#1 - DAMN IT MAN, I SAID DUMB!! DUMB !!!
#2 - It destroys everything when it attacks.... And wait, I have a friend who plays mill decks... I want to beat him too.
#1 - Excellent! Recess is over, go back and learn sex-ed with the other 6th graders.
With both images of the Garruks now revealed is anyone else getting a Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde vibe? Version 1 of the new art is quite dapper (for Garruk), while the smaller panel art makes him seem much more rage filled and bestial plus you can see the veins black and pulsating. Plus the original story seems to fit that horror trope of "horror lurking within" bit that is the tagline for the set.
Maybe he can begin to channel the curse itself to actually fuel his abilities but gives into its power of corruption over time...
I think a Jekyl / Hyde walker would be rather sweet.

Yes! That would be really cool,
And be a flavorful way to get away

To me he doesn't look so much vampire as he does just wet and annoyed. If I went out in a flimsy shirt like that and it started to rain, I'd look like that too (ok, without the muscles...)
Considering there are two arts for Garruk in ISD (called it btw, watch for Ajani coming in Dark Ascension), and considering the other art is on a card binder (making it the art that's going to appear on the Garruks that are opened in packs), I would imagine that this is promo art, likely making Garruk the prerelease promo
So Garruk is chasing Lilliana to Innistrad.
He was tainted by her.
I dont like this.
The new Nissa is coming out and she is supposed to be G/B, Two G/Bs is bad juu juu.
If he got tainted and loses it a whole Planeswalker card is not needed to reflect this.
Also Kiora Atua is G/U..... Too much black and green.
What is this? Torment and Judgement again?
I want Wizards to even out the colours so we have an even mix of Gold Planeswalkers.
W/B, W/G, R/U are the only ones left after Kiora and Nissa's Colours are done.
Well, Ral Zarek is rumored to be :symu::symr:, so that would be taken care of. Either way, I believe I remember reading that WotC doesn't make Planeswalker colors in any kind of rhyme or reason (IE: having "cycles") in blocks. They just making them to advance the characters that are involved in the current story. A good example of this is the SoM block. We have Elspeth Tirel as a PW, Koth of the Hammer as a PW, Karn Liberated as a PW, Venser, the Sojourner as :symw::symu: and last, but surely not least, my favorite in Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas as :symu::symb:. There was no "cycle" or noticeable pattern for the colors, it was simple logic of the stories and the characters involved with it. Elspeth, Koth and Venser were working to free Karn. Tezzeret was sent there by Nicol Bolas.
Plus, it's already believed that both Liliana AND Sorin will be making an appearance during this block, that's already two PWs. Unless they plan on having 10 PWs this block, they aren't really going to try and balance out the colors. Garruk is possibly going to show up at some point because he's chasing Liliana, and having him get mana is more fitting and makes a lot more sense than him suddenly getting mana.
Either way, having a :symb::symg: deck with Garruk, Glissa and some other cards doesn't seem like too bad a thing in my eyes.

Erm, where's the new Nissa thing come from? And Nissa's been "supposed to be GB since before she got printed the first time, same as Kiora is being called as UG simply because of the dotp deck.

Um... not quite.
Take a look near the end of this for the background WotC themselves gave to her:
Kiora Atua is a merfolk planeswalker who commands the powers of the depths. Kiora venerates the huge creatures of the sea—krakens, leviathans, and other denizens of the inky depths—because for her they are evidence that even the most persistent forces can be endured: time, water, predation, and darkness. Kiora is a blue- and green-aligned Planeswalker. She seems calm and wise, but her dreams are bizarre beyond imagining.
He could be in Innistrad, but I doubt it. Personally, I expect him in the block after Innistrad if it is a "revisit" of Ravnica.
He has izzet colors on his clothes.
There's NO WAY he's in innistrad.
Even his artwork has ravnica (on a stormy day) in the background.
Plus ravnica is the set after innistrad.
Also, I bet kiora is not in innistrad. She'll be on zendikar redux, or some other new plane, but NOT in innistrad.

Again, I'm not saying he is, but just because he is wearing "Ravnica clothes" doesn't mean he couldn't have... you know, PLANESWALKED to Innistrad.

Just saying...
We know both of the planeswalker cards in ISD, so he cannot be in that set. It's possible that he's in DKA or the third set of the block, but I'd personally say it's more likely he'll be in the Ravnica block as the "home representative" like Nissa and Koth were for their blocks.
Also, Ral Zarek and Kiora Atua are both just rumored...
Also also, where did the rumor of Ajani come from?
Ajani came from the fact that Lilliana and he were both booted from M12. Some people then drew the conclusion that they would probably show up in the next block. Lilliana got confirmed some time ago and now people are expecting Ajani to also show up. This theory runs into problems though now that we have Garruk confirmed and he did get a new version in M12, and Sorrin showing up in the second set when he got added to M12.
As for Kiorra and Ral Zarek we have been told point blank that they may or may not even appear on cards so we really need to stop saying that they are showing up in any block without some kind of other info.

If they did do that, they'd probably limit him to having a +1. That seems fair enough.
