1.) Loyalty instead of mana is not really that big of a difference, especially when you take into account that loyalty abilities can be used as sorceries, unlike Deed's instant capabilities.
2.) He wouldn't be an auto-4 of at all if you paid 4GB to Deed for 3 like you say, since that's the exact cost to just use normal Deed for 3..which isn't an auto 4-of.
I once farted during the final match for prizes at an FNM. It was a tense moment, everything was quiet, control vs control, I was about to mana leak, thought about it.. and farted. Then mana leaked.
Biggest problem with trying to predict stuff about Innistrad based on art is that all of the artwork seems dark and brooding, which makes it hard to tell what will be black and what will be some other color.
In any case, if Garruk isn't mono-colored, I expect him to be an ally pair, GW or GR.
But he looks really green here, which I like.
that art is some of the most Rock Color looking art you could have. High chance he is GB

I do hope the reason is because of the harsher environment/setting/etc. because if I see a human woman who's in the same setting as he is and it just on a two piece I'm gonna think that this additional clothes is something deliberate.

You can't depend on POOP when it comes to colors on a planeswalker. Remember the whole Elspeth Tirel thing? People screaming that she is going to be G/W.
Because they were looking at an oversaturated image of her card art that made the lights on her sword look green, yeah. It was silly to go just by little details like that. In this case, though, there's a storyline reason for why Garruk's colors would be BG.

When GW was speculated when it came to Elspeth Tirel, or Knight Exemplar the reasoning was purely the color palette chosen by the artist. Elspeth had no other reason to go WG and we had no real reason to think that gold cards were suddenly going to start showing up in core sets.
The reason for Garruk to be GB is a Storyline reason. It is because of the development of his character in the web comics which frankly at this point are a much better source of cannon material then the books lately *cough* spark in the heart *cough*. When you look at the artwork you have to look at the mood and the imagery not just the colors of the paint. When you do that the most logical things for Garruk to be are GB or maybe just G but that would be boring.

I don't understand what's going on in the art. Is he wearing a big mask, or is he looking up in a really weird way? Where are his eyes supposed to be?
He is wearing his helmet, you can see the tusks coming down from the sides. His head's angled a bit upwards but you can see his eyes glowing green through the helmet's eyeholes.

On maro's twitter u can also find this: Human, like Spirits, will show up in all five colors but will be centered primarily in White, secondarily in green. So Spirits don't look like a UW-only tribe for me, but who knows...

Two garruks? What the?!!!! This is news indeed. I did not expect to see garruk so soon after a new garruk was in m12. I like the art and heres to hoping hes bad ass!!!
