Here hoping for a BG Garruk, my favorite colors.


My theory as to why he has more cloths on is: that he has been traveling the multivers looking for lilly. Because of the curse making his skin a purpleish hue he is probly trying to cover it up (a disguise). If your trying to get information from people, and they saw you as a huge purplish dude they might be less likely to talk to you in fear of catching the sickness you may have or your some kind of monster humanoid.

I suspect Garruk will be in the 3rd set, but that's completely baseless speculation, grounded completely on a hunch. They just printed Garruk again, so 1st set might be too soon, 2nd set is Sorin, 3rd set though, is a good while from the last print, and we have nothing planned there yet.

having a great promo for pre releases would encourage a lot of people to attend multiples. I can see it happening.

My guess is new Garruk will be 4GB, and Liliana will be 1BBB.
I have absolutely nothing tk backup these thoughts, but its just what I'm gonna guess

This garruk looks like he needs an eletric guitar,a motorcycle,and a 40 year old woman that recently got laid off from hooters.

Dayum! New Garruk is all that is man!

Definitely prefer the new look. He looks like an actual man instead of a half-man-half-steroid abomination. He also has an air of savage dignity about him, instead of just savage... savagery.

I think he gonna be GW. He looks so proud and powerfull, like all the others W walkers.

He does look quite civilized compared to his other incarnations. Maybe he dipped a bit into white in order to fight off the curse or something.

A part of me hopes this card will be barely playable so that I can pick them up cheap, but the other part wants to see him absolutely destroy standard's face. Great art!

it's more than likely he'll be GB for man y reasons. One, he's Cursed by Liliana and the Veil. And Two, he's more in the "tracking" of her for Revenge, PERSONAL revenge, or rather revenge for personal gain. which is more black oriented than red (and especially white)

And for all the people who say New Garruk in 2012, then New-ER Garruk in INN, What gives and doubt it because of that "alone" You are aware that the Core sets have ZERO Canon based relevance, so Garruk, Primal Hunter, versus "Garruk the Cursed" Both being in sets back to back. Is entirely a bad argument towards him not being in Innistrad. Everyone (and likely even the few that doubted it) KNEW (but not in their hearts) that Garruk was likely to be in Innistrad, Why have the story show up then have a new Liliana, without expecting Garruk to hunt her down.? The actual Expansions, Scars, Innistrad, Hook, will be Canon, whereas Core sets will not, and have NEVER been canon for the story line.

New Garruk, New Liliana, New Sorin. Are more or less "Confirmed" walkers in INN and Dark Ascension respectively. Whereas Kiora is still speculative.

Even if i'm entirely wrong (which i doubt) The point still stands, Garruk is Cursed, and is thus, likely going to be black in "Anger and Revenge" but not "Practicing" black magic. Still likely have all mono green or green (with a phyrexian black/innistrad feel) to them instead of black as in reincarnation and imma kill you for fun. If he's not GB, I will look like a fool. But it'll be worth it. Feel free to quote me on this.

We all saw what Colors that aren't Black but can have a Black feel to them in New Phyrexia, which is likely the only reason they designed them like that, to tie in with the horror, *R&D's part to just suddenly drop the pie and shift everything into a darker orient without letting us grow a feel to it first. I kinda liked the other colors (even white) bleeding into black, and i'm sure that some of you did too.

You can't depend on POOP when it comes to colors on a planeswalker. Remember the whole Elspeth Tirel thing? People screaming that she is going to be G/W.

It;s not just about the colors though, it's about the way that it's drawn, the attire, the stance... everything working together. Not to mention B/G is heavily favored by what we know of the storylines.

Because they were looking at an oversaturated image of her card art that made the lights on her sword look green, yeah. It was silly to go just by little details like that. In this case, though, there's a storyline reason for why Garruk's colors would be BG.

I think people need to remember that wizzards didn't intend to have to ban JTMS before M12 came out, which means that they intended to have 3 Jaces in the current standard. That being the case, they're clearly not gonna have an issue with 2 Garruks.

If it was the tile for the sweepstakes (of which they are all planeswalker arts from what I have seen) seems likely that would be his art? Either way, seems awesome, and probably not another mono green Garruk which is cool.

Spicay... Dont mention that or i'll be poor for the rest of my life... Just please, a GB Garruk, with Deed on a stick for "loyalty" instead of mana. would be Really REALLY mean. even if he costed 4GB and started with 3 loyalty, he'd be an auto4of in everything.
