Huh.... Not sure what to make of this baby. Obviously they want you to turn 6 Sorin, turn 7 10 life and kill.... But it just seems like an all around nice finisher. Whether it'll see play... I want to say it's too pricey. But if MBC rises as expected... Perhaps.

Seriously, can people stop jizzing themselves when another black card is released? Mono black has plenty of finishers, none of which are 7 CMC, and the deck still sucks. Card is fun in casual. That's it.

Yeah, I could definitely see it as a two of in mono black control. In limited it will win you the game. Other then that, I think EDH and casual black decks would rather just play Sorin.

Well, that's one way to interact with Sorin Markov's ability. Heh.

Anyhow... Seems sort of weak.

7cc is too much. This is the most overcosted Core Set in history

how do you not see that sorin reduces opponents life to 10?

so with all the good aggro decks
and all these really powerfull 6/7 cmc bombs
I dont think i'll ever see a game of magic go past turn 7.

Yikes 7CC is kinda costly for a spell like that, oh well completes the walker cycle of spells besides the walkers themselves.

Don't know if it will be played in MBC or not, at turn 7, Consume Spiritdeals 7, whereas this deals 10, but isn't able to kill creatures or be scaled back to evade Mana Leak like Consume Spirit is. Not great, but maybe as a 1-2 of in MBC.

In Draft, I really hope I can crack this baby, it's the bomb diggity!

Why would you play this in EDH? It only targets one player.

I like it. Sure, it's really freakin' expensive, but I love its flavor (both the text, and interaction with Sorin Markov's -3 ability).

Also, somewhat decent in EDH/Commander 1v1, although in multiplayer Exsanguinate is the better card by a pretty wide margin.
