Bear in mind these have to be artifacts, but probably can't be equipments like Kaldra. All three being pure artifacts is more likely. You can equip a rod or a crown, but you can't equip a chair So I'd expect it to be more like Rod of Ruin and Crown of Ages- not those cards, but artifacts, not equips. But the last throne we got was Throne of Geth
Although there one way for a throne to be an equipment:
Comfy Chair3
Artifact - Equipment
Equipped Creature has Defender and feels quite comfortable
Equip: 2
But I don't see anyone lugging a chair around to bash in someones face like its the WWFE
I think it's more likely they're "generic equipment" like Greatsword and Kite Shield.
The shared color scheme, and the fact that they're being shown as a set, does imply some sort of connection between them. A throne wouldn't make a good piece of equipment either, though the scepter and crown could be.
They're all symbols of rulership. I wonder if gathering them together will be an alternate win condition? Or maybe just grant you "kingly" abilities or protection.
A crown, a scepter, and a throne. Maybe they work together, like the Kaldra equipments.
That was the first thing I thought of but maybe only the crown and the scepter are equipment and the throne has an effect if you control the other two, just my guess
i'm thinking the throne might get a search function as an ability for the two other abilities then give the equipped creature a certain ability... that or something goofy like form of the dragon and make you a lord (that sounds fun actually)
These are all probably static artifacts without the ability to equip. If you have all three you can take a permanent each upkeep or something like that.
Anyone else find it interesting that these three showed up on the same day as Vengeful Pharaoh, which has a crown, scepter and chair (albeit of a different look)?
They are an "engine" system like the Stations which provide an alternate win condition by having all three activated, like the Stations from MIR. (This is the theory I favour.)
They are static artifacts of different rarities that do a similar thing... for example, the Throne gives absorb 1 to you and your planeswalkers (or equivalent), the crown gives it to equipped creature, the scepter to a target.
Just three random nice artifacts, with one of them naming the rest a la Kaldra. I guess this could be factible too.

I agree with this, they probably do something minor by themselves, but with all 3 in play you get a big effect.
Very cool idea - I like the original Kaldra collection. The problem I see is the art is subpar. They look like token art, not set art.
A lot of that has to do with how sparse any card looks when you take away all of its text. I'm sure once we find out what they do and see them in their entirety, they'll look a lot less token-y.

Urza's Couch, Urza's Beer Hat, Urza's TV Remote
Guess we've solved this riddle.
But according to the N&N crunch, these can't be named "Pharaoh's xxxxx", but they could still be related
According to that, they could all be "Royal X" artifacts.
