I think the Greaves 2.0 are the first card in this entire spoiler that has so far impressed me. Nothing else in the spoilers have come close to exciting me. But this with Puresteel Paladin almost makes a better Lightning Greaves.
While the Boots don't really fit into any of the main deck in T2 right now, just think about whether that actually matters right now. The next rotation will make Caw Blade, Valakut, RDW, and most of the control decks sporting JTMS, all obsolete.
The new Greaves is solid, and should be useful in a few constructed decks. It should really shine in EDH, and will easily replace the new Champion's Helm.
Manalith is ok I guess. I prefer Mindstone or Prophetic Prism, but it could have some potential uses.

Im gonna use both, that extra +2/+2 from the helm doubles the time it takes to kill someone with Zedruu
New Boots is scary in constructed I think because Titans are going to still be around...so for 7 mana you can have a hasted Titan that has troll shroud.
your spellskite is horrible (can't use activated ability except on stuff you control)

i've been hoping for a card like this. this makes forgemaster decks in standard possible.
sure you need 6 mana, but that 6 mana will win you the game.
freaking awesome.
I like Turtles
Hast is where it's at bro... It's like haste but without the extra calories of that whole "e" vowel, and I hear that's like a whole 2.71828...

You can find me on MTGO. My username is gereffi.
Manalith has great art, but I still don't know if its playable in commander.
Yay, math joke.
To actually contribute something on topic, I think the boots' art is pretty cool.

Venser's Bestest Buddy Ever!
Too bad it's all too slow...

Too bad your combining venser with another card to create gideon.
Except with Gideon you're forcing an attack on your planeswalker, and with this you're preventing an attack all together.
The best uses for Venser so far that I've seen have been Wall of Omens and Sea Gate Oracle, both of which are rotating.
This card could see play, depending on what else comes around.
[B]DCI Level 2 Judgeyou mean tumble magnet right? blinking magnets is why you use venser at all.
