A voice for Timmy.
Commander R Ashling, the Pilgrim Mono Red Wildfire Control GBW Karador, Ghost Chieftain Abzan Dredge Rock WBR Tariel, Reckoner of Souls Mardu Aggro-Reanimator Midrange
Targeted VERY quickly by blue and black players. Otherwise, looks like most people won't mind.
By what blue and black cards?
Blue has some bounce and they both have expensive colorless stuff like Karn and Steel Hellkite but black is going to have a real tough time un-sticking this...
By virtue of being an enchantment and not an artifact, this card is a lot harder to kill than it looks.
1. It hits many other things, like fetchlands.
2. It doesn't stop the caster from tutoring up their combo pieces.
Im glad this hits fetchlands. I dont need to see someone shuffling up their 100 card deck just to get a little mana fixing. There's quite enough of that without the fetchlands.
I was planning on buying the Heavenly Inferno deck, so Im hoping this is in it. If not, Im buying a different deck, or maybe two seperate decks....

This guy, would either eat up several turns worth of mana to get a slow permanent that relies on your already have some board presence (after wasting said mana), or dies without generating any advantage.
I'm really not worried about this, because any casual player with half a brain knows that you have to maindeck Disenchant effects for matters like this. You just have to hope you have it when the hammer comes down.
And like others have said, for some reason, people wanna play monored EDH decks. Personally, I think they're daft, but whatever.

Underling Ethu's 263rd report read simply "Yes, my lord.Overwhelmingly, my lord." This marked the end of the Mirran-Phyrexian War.
Favorite card ever. "What, red doesn't have the card advantage or tutoring capabilities of all the other colors, making it weak in EDH? Well neither does anyone else, then."

Eh, maybe. I have a fun time playing my deck and it does the job its intended to do so daft or not, this card is awesome and going into my deck.

so its a red mindlock orb that itself is harder to fetch since its not an artifact....
fail.
But whats more fail is that red mages think this is their golden ticket to winmore, but in fact, its not seeing has how blue players (well the ones that arent bad) have things like FoW and such.
On a side note, I play Erayo, Soratami Ascendant and have mindlock orb in there and boy let me tell you how much hate that brings.... This will make short work of a red mage
There is a scene in brave heart where the scottish vagabond army moons the vastly superior English army. From red mage to blue this is that moment. We may get an arrow in our arse for it but God will it be worth it.

Because, you know, the blue player ALWAYS has a counterspell ready, and they NEVER tap out right?
A blue player hasn't won an EDH game Ive played in forever, and I play at one of the most competitive stores for EDH (the casual ones play down the road with the aforementioned Sheldon Menery.)

It will have to be drawn naturally or coupled with black or white, however red does have Gamble. Rather than a winmore card, it's just an answer to something that was hard to interact with before, outside redirection or copying for one side and no way at all for other side. Being out of the colour pie for red is just incredible.
I also play Weiss Schwarz, Chaos, Vanguard and Wixoss.
Weiss Schwarz Sets
Accel World, Angel Beats, Familiar of Zero, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, Guilty Crown, Kill La Kill, Robotics;Notes, Sword Art Online.
Chaos Partners
Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Iona, Kirishima, Kongou.
Dangan Ronpa: Asahina, Togami.
Freezing: Vibration: Chiffon, Satelizer.
Vanguard Clans Favoured
Angel Feather, Dark Irregulars, Genesis, Neonecter, Pale Moon, Shadow Paladins, Tachikaze.
This needed to be in a standard set, it would help soooo much
not really, stoneforge searches on turn 2 or 3 max, so by turn 4, this is dead.
Also, would mono red dedicate 4 slots for this? Any less and it wouldnt matter, and RUG and other red splash decks (Splinter Twin variations) wont have 4 slots to devote and in RUG's case, it shuts down their own Fauna Shaman/Vengevine back up plan.
So no, this would not be used in standard. If it cost 2 mana, like RR, then maybe....
I love love love this card. It should really have costed 3, like Aven Mindcensor. While this is a lot harder to remove and has a nice little extra bit added onto it, there's not much more satisfying than flashing down Aven Mindcensor. Still a beautiful card.

You sound lonely. I'd give you a hug, but.........you'd a monoblue player. Ew.
Anyway, this card is perhaps too expensive in monored 1-on-1 especially since, like we all realize, you can't tutor it yourself. Of course, good manarocks get it out turn 2......

Here is your original post:
I play a mono-red anti blue/combo deck that doesn't try to win, just screw up the blue/combo players.
Ha, Wow what a shut down to blue combo. You know? If it doesn't get countered or bounced and then countered :P. But it's still a really good grief card.
I suspect a lot of black decks will be casting turn two demonic tutor for oblivion stone (and blue fabricating turn three) when facing a red deck known to have this card.
Cards like this rarely win the game by themselves, they just force everybody who doesn't like it to wait until they topdeck an out (and those who do benefit from it to hold their removal until they're ready to win the game).
1. I dont understand your point. Neither thing I said contradicted the other.
2. Just because my deck is already very effective at making sure the blue player loses, that doesn't mean I dont want more awesome to put inside.
3. My store is bad, but the competition is quite high.

Red mages already have that target on their head especially with mana barbs or heartless hidetsugu.
