Is it just me or is that blue humanoid a new planeswalker? After all, the other two packs have planeswalkers on them.
The packs are usually pretty random.
Not only that, but there is no chance that they add a new walker without us having found promo material on it already.
Furthermore, the angle of the arms shows that it's a sphinx, and thats backed up further by the apparent wings.
This is not Frost Titan. This is not a planeswalker. This is 100% a blue sphinx.

This guy, would either eat up several turns worth of mana to get a slow permanent that relies on your already have some board presence (after wasting said mana), or dies without generating any advantage.
Extremely disappointed that they decided to actually use that new Chandra art. It's absolutely horrifying to look at.
I'm really sad about it too. The only good part about her is the legs now. I wish they would have used the promo picture where she looked ☺☺☺☺ing hot, literally and figuratively. The one with all 5 planeswalkers on it and her hair was on fire and she looked more feminine. She looks like Lady Gaga without makeup. Blech.
People, don't forget, the sphinx might be some forgettable card too. Don't immediately think it's some crazy mythic planeswalker or whatever, remember maritime guard was on the packaging for M11...

Legendary Creature – Human Designer (MR)
Brian Tinsman, Set Designer can only be cast during the third set of a block.
When Brian Tinsman, Set Designer enters the battlefield, ignore all flavor and mechanics of the first two sets in the block. "Ok so what do we have here... gothic horror? Scrap it. Expand the Devine Vs. Demonic duel deck to 244 cards and print it!"

I'm glad most people hate GaGa Chandra; maybe it'll affect her market value negatively. I'm hoping it's an Ablaze reprint, because I don't have one of those and prefer GaGa over Argyle's version. Plus, full-frame art is always cool to have. I'd like a new Garruk for the same reason.
I must have missed that, too. I saw all the reasonable posters saying that the art looks a lot more like a sphinx than a titan. We don't know if that Sphinx is a Rare or Mythic Rare. We really have no idea if the Titans are going to be reprinted or not.
Actually, the reasonable posters drew intelligent conclusions instead of going "Well, we can't disprove that they might print tiny porn magazines in the booster packs, so I have to admit that it's possible that they replace magic cards with miniature porn magazines."
"During our initial design meetings, I was pushing hard for a big cycle that could be the 'face of the set' and play a big role in differentiating M11 from M10." (source)
Why would they think they need that, hm? Maybe to drive sales and make players remember the set fondly. Reprinting the titan cycle wouldn't drive sales nearly as much as a new cycle, and it would make M11 and M12 not stand out nearly as much in people's minds.
Wizards does not make mistakes like this. This isn't an easy mistake to make. You would have to be actively trying to hurt the set and hurt profits to do this (which would get you fired), or spend about three seconds on the decision (while they spend months designing and developing sets). I can say with complete certainty that the cycle will not be reprinted.
These are all decent, playable limited cards. I'm looking forward to M12!
Sengir Vampire is confirmed as an uncommon, so your hopes came to fruition.

yep. just you.
in related news, DotP spoilers have already introduced us to a new blue planeswalker. and it's a female (merfolk?), and she looks nothing like this picture. as someone else above has stated, it's extremely doubtful at this point that they would have created yet another blue PW for this set without us knowing anything about it whatsoever (as that would definitely be promo/publicity-worthy).
also, it's definitely a sphinx.
Everytime I look at Gideon's Lawkeeper I see Gideon's Lawnkeeper...
glad i'm not the only one! i'll probably still end up calling him Lawnkeeper anyways.
(he does seem to have a somewhat caramel complexion. coincidence? creo que no! :D)

Kiora, the Merfolk planeswalker, might not even see print anytime soon. We've been told that new planeswalker characters appearing in D12 may or may not show up in the near future.
But this creature on the booster pack seems very much like a sphinx, yes, and is certainly not a planeswalker at any rate. We've seen Jace in advertisements for M12, and no evidence that more than one 'walker per color will be present. Mixing planeswalkers and non-planeswalkers on product packaging isn't unusual at all, either.
No, there's no question- it's a sphinx. A screenshot in the Gamespot preview article of DOTP2 has a larger view of the art and it has clearly visible wings and paws.
I can see bloodthirst as a vampire mechanic. It seems like they were made for each other now lets get the nocturnus back and have fun. Yes the lawkeeper will be the nuts in limited as was the harrier.
So is it possible to have a planeswalker themed color and rarity cycle? So 5 planeswalkers, +15 other cards with the planeswalkers' names on them?
Kind of forcing it down our throat. I miss the days of core sets having a pure fantasy vibe, where nothing was related to each other outside of small cycles (which were also random fantasy in flavor- Dragon's Claw, Angel's Feather, etc).
And cards mostly meant for limited from the looks of it, unless I'm underestimating Avenger (but I sincerely doubt it).
Oh dear god, it's Night Hound from Heroes of Newerth. We're all boned.
I hate that guy...
I love core sets they are so fun to draft and so far this one is looking like it will be a blast. Sengir, the common tapper, some Planeswalkers, some kind sphinx thingy, bloodthirst in black with unblockable guys. Yeah should be fun

He talked about differentiating M10 from M11. It's possible they want to differentiate M11 from M12 by adding 3 Mythic Rare Slots. If they wanted to drive sales and make M12 memorable from M11 they could have decided to reprint JTMS. Would have been a horrible idea but it would have been the core set that had the most expensive Planeswalker in it.
Wizards is fallible. Sure they make a lot of good decisions but they make mistakes, too. Was JTMS an easy mistake to make? Did it take them 3 seconds to make?
Some people are saying that putting Titan Promos in the new MTG video game is indication that they're going to be reprinted in M12. The is based on the fact that the game is coinciding with M12 being released and it would be silly of WotC to give promos to people to get into the game that won't be legal in the most played format in a short time. But this is of course speculation.
I can say with complete certainty that you can't be completely certain the cycle will not be reprinted unless you've seen the M12 Godbook, have had it officially disclosed by a member of the designing team, or it doesn't match up in the name/number crunch. Or you don't know what the definition of "completely certain" means. You may be able to say that with great certainty the cycle won't be reprinted but there is a chance.
From the looks of it, vampires are making a come back. I wouldn't be surprised if Nocturnus made a reprint in the core set, and I certainly won't be surprised to see Innistrad being full of vampires either.
I just hope the new mythics they make aren't duds like Sphinx Ambassador.
