Was debating preordering.
Just got all 5 for $130.
I love you, Wizards.

To post on this forum you must...
1. Have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
2. Stubbornly argue for at least 1 page of posts.
3. Regurgitate things you read on Starcitygames or Channelfireball.
4. Hate all netdeckers
5. Claim your 2nd place FNM deck broke the format and Delver is not even that good.
6. Tell everybody that MBC is coming back every time a new black card is released.
Dang it wizards, I want to save some money this summer. The only way this could get better is if the say screw the reserved list and reprint the old dual lands, or make better ones

Huh. I'm stunned; I was convinced we wouldn't see something so valuable in the EDH decks even though they are "required" for EDH. Well, I'm definitely gonna have to pick up a deck, and fortunately I can choose whichever one looks coolest to me because they ALL have Rings
The only question now is, will Sol Ring go down? Or will all sites have added a $10 "Sol Ring" tax to their Commander deck presales by tomorrow morning?

Sol Ring, and lightning greaves? I haven't been this giddy in ages. Fingers crossed for more amazingness... But dear god no Tops... Anything but those... Sad robots would be very nice too... And would I be a bit greedy if I ask for Eternal Witnesses in all the green precons?
Oh boy, I was excited about Commander already.
Now it's exceeding my expectations!
Give us more previews please, especially if they are as tasty as this one.
Lending a bit of credence to the possibility of other EDH and Legacy format staple reprints in the sets.
Nice one wizards. Showing us that you'd rather people be able to play your formats (and give you globs of money) than not be able to afford to be competitive in formats or give all our money to singles resellers.
OMG!!!!!!!
This is even more motivation to buy some decks.
I'm trying to get into edh and I don't see a better way then with sol rings.
They go from exiled to uncommon? Wizards love power creep don't they?
Now I can look forward to gloating about getting my set of all 5 pre-cons for $100.
I didn't even have a single Sol Ring, either.
This is glorious.
GLORIOUS

Star "the most reactionary dudes on the planet" City Games doesn't even have them for preordering on their front page now. Miniaturemarket.com still has them for $130 shipped. I bet the preorder prices will fluctuate quite a bit tonight though.
As one who preordered all 5 when they we announced. I shat a brick house, equiped greaves to it. Wizards and my wallet are now engaged and this is the wedding ring. They really have all ten of their fingers up in that one.

SCG is down to 2 Counterpunch (BWG) decks available for pre-order, and that's it. Everything else, ie, the 4 other decks and the set of five, is long out of stock.
I am definitively getting the UBG and the WBR decks now.
To an extent, something like this doesnt surprise me. To be honest, I rather expect wizards to go a bit all-in on these things, knowing how important the format is to casual players, and how popular it is, and how many cards are popular in any deck that some commons and uncommons. Since special items like these are about the only ways to reprint many of the old powerful commons/uncommons that they wouldnt want in standard, putting them into 100-card highlander decks like these seems like a great way to help make the format as accessable as possible.
As someone who has a pretty decent sized stock of EDH singles for my customers at the shop I sell at, honestly these things worry me greatly. They worry me, because, like, say, with Sol Ring, the value of many of these cards could tank if they show up in multiple decks. As a player, I would find this to be awesome, because its going to make a ton of cards, a whole lot easier to acquire.
In the end, Ill take the hit and look forward to a whole new rush of players getting into the format.
Fixed.
I am still in shock. 17 minutes in and I am still amazed. LMAO

So excited about these Sol Rings. All I have is a FTV one and I hate playing with it. It bends a little bit and I'm not a fan of foils.
Let's go Nev's Disk! I need some of those...haha
I was already planning on picking these up on release day, but now I don't even need to check the decklists to know I'm buying all 5.

I would be very pleased for the FTV art Nev's disk in the precons. It can take up 2 rare slots for all I care, as long as it ain't foily.
