I love Nin. As a UR combination of card draw and damage, I prefer her over a card like Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind for several reasons:
1) She's more of a team-player. Stuffy Doll comes to mind, but I'm sure you could find other ways to get the most out of her ability also.
2) The potency of her ability scales with the amount of mana you have.
3) That she can offer other players card draw in exchange for creatures makes her a shrewd diplomat.
4) With a sufficient amount of mana, she can be used to deck an opponent.
Archangel of Strife is interesting also. I like powerful creatures that your opponents have a disincentive to eliminate.
I think Nin looks sweet. I don't usually play UR outside of Ravnica Block Constructed, but she makes me want to make a build, which speaks volume for good card constructed. I agree that the name sounds very UB, though the abilities are very UR.
Personally I look forward to seeing the WBR commanders. I'm hoping some sort of drain life creature, as RW has had damage combined with life gain in the past (Lightning Helix, Balefire Liege), which often act very similar to black's has its own drain life abilities. I for one would love to build a deck with those cards and Sanguine Bond, I would just prefer their to be a sweet in-theme Commander to lead the pack.
EDH, on the other hand, is more like a monster truck rally. It's more about the spectacle than the race, the games go long, and it's not usually clear who's in the lead until there's only one truck left.*
Single player EDH is like two guys smacking each other with pillows... until one of them pulls out a shotgun.
Swans of Bryn Argoll would be fun with Nin too, although not in EDH with Nin as a generaL, draw X times 2 cards.
I Wonder which deck these will be in? I'd think the BWR one rather than the GWB one for the angel. Hmmm can't really see whether Nin would fit more in UWR or GRU. Its hard to deduce things for wedges.
The Dark Vengeant shard would be more in line flavorwise than Doran shard for the angel. "War" is very much a white red domain. And theres some white red cards with crusade like effects: fervent charge, and one from alara reborn which alternates between power and toughness bonuses to your critters based on whether it's your turn or not.
Sorry if this has been asked/answered else where but do we know when this is gonna be printed and sold in stores. I thought I heard summer but after talking with a buddy he said spring which seems unlikely to me.
- She has four arms, like Mirran vedalken and some of the Ravnican ones modified by the Simic. She doesn't look like she's from either of those, so perhaps the trend takes place on even more planes than just the two... (I'm aware that the artist basically made her up from scratch, so there's no hidden storyline message there, but it's still neat to think about.)
- She has scars all over her skin. It seems she's experimented on herself as well as others. I suppose that reflects what may be a common occurrence when using her card to sacrifice herself for the sake of knowledge.

OH ****. I think this is the first time I got real spooked by a Magic Card Art. I like, can't look at it longer than 3 minutes. ICK.

NIN is holding… Nine Inch Nails! Or something similar at least…
Stuffy Nin would make for an excellent casual deck. It would be hilarious to have a real-life stuffy doll and actually stick nine inch nails into it when you activate Nin!
I think Nin makes those mono blue EDH decks all the better, granted this is if they have creatures out. Its like "Oh hey you're ending your turn EOT I'm going to use Nin to shoot my biggest guy for 1 less than lethal and draw a bunch of cards so I can hopefully get my combo off quicker"

What exactly does a UR card have to do with mono-blue decks?
It could be that it was part of the original art turned in by the artist (used for the wallpaper) but airbrushed out because the Art director decided he didn't like it on the actual card.

I think I'm going to get lyrics from "Happiness In Slavery" scrawled on my Nin. Or find someone to make her into Trent Reznor.
