Ha I just realized, her name is Nin, like NIN, aka Nine Inch Nails. Definetely should've been RB, I could've also seen her being mono black as well.
naw, trent's definitely blue/red (at least until recently when he got sober, ripped, and socially responsible). he has so many FEELINGS! they are really important! he is going to make a really elaborate song about it with a really elaborate video to show you how vast and important his feelings are. also he's going to do whatever he wants whenever he wants. certainly more red than blue, but the careful craft and technology link is pretty strong. the dude knows more about analog synthesizers than charlie sheen knows about crazy.
it doesn't get much more blue/red than trent circa 1995.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
really cool spoilers and info, its looking like commanders may actually live up to expectations! woot

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.
Karador, Ghost Chieftain costs (1) less to cast for each creature card in your graveyard.
During each of your turns, you may cast one creature card from your graveyard.
"Death tried to uncrown me. But now I return, king of a greater realm."

that's because this is pretty old news :\
i hope all of the dual enemy colored commanders cost 2
Recent discussions here and elsewhere have made it clear that there seems to be a group of players who consider blue and control synonymous, as if they somehow started playing a game with four identical and "bad" colors that do nothing interesting because they just "turn men sideways" and then true, glorious blue, the only thinking person's color.

She's not using the instruments to torture for the sake of torturing, like a B mage would, she's doing it to make art. Albeit art that gives her knowledge, but art nonetheless.
Here's something that goes well with Miss Nin: Act of Treason, and anything similar. Steal a guy, do what you want with it, then torture it for information before it returns to its owner. A deck built to exploit that could be a ton of fun (but will probably make you a big target at the table, too).

Archangel is beautiful. Another Staples angel masterpiece a la Baneslayer Angel. Can't wait to use it in my WBR commander!

i want to see the BG general, maybe it'll work with Thelon. As for rings of brighthearth, i dont see why it's not an autoinclude for decks that have an activated ability theme, or even just for walkers. Doubling walker abilities is SAVAGE.

I do like the idea of using UR pain artist with Lorescale Coatl. Burn the Coatl down just enough to keep it alive, draw cards, place +1/+1 counters as the Coatl semi-negates the damage, then comes back bigger than before next turn.

That angel is really cleverly designed, its definitely a political table top card.
I like how doran gets the best of both words from her.

I really like the wording on that. It reminds me of Raging River in a way, and I'd like to see more cards with similar options. Too many would get confusing, but one here and there would be neat.
"They will not consider changing the #commander posion rule until after action is out and all of the posion cards are released." - @pureval (reading between the line, again confirms poison for Action)
Could this also be taken to mean that a possible answer for poison is coming? Not like Leeches, but this line almost makes me think there will be some way to fight the poison.
Mark Rosewater has flat-out set that there are zero cards in the block that can remove poison counters. There are already ways of defending against poison counters: removing or otherwise neutralizing creatures with infect before they overwhelm you. Holding off until the block is finished lets any rules changes for Commander take all of them into account, rather than making a change that is either too harsh or too lenient once the third set is out.
New enemy-colored legends!? What a pleasant surprise! Here's hoping for a cool Green Blue Legend. (I just don't like Momir Vig or Experiment Kraj....ugh at Simic, the most prevalent combination of blue/green yet by far the most bizarre interpretation of blue/green.) I was hoping a red Vedalken would be a berserker, barbarian, or warrior. Oh well.
Archangel of Strife...Angels are always cool, and that ability is interesting...but...another wasted opportunity to give an Angel a class. Doesn't she look like a soldier, warrior, or knight to anyone else!? It's just one of those things they do...I guess, some weird code they have to follow when designing cards. "Whatever you do, don't give Angels a second class type. Who cares if they have armor, swords, and shields? They are Angels, that's all that matters." It's weird.
Well, an Angel doesn't really have a "job." They use armor and weapons but any training or combat skill is an innate part of their being. They don't learn to become soldiers or knights, being an Angel encompasses all of that.

what? No trent is definitely at least black, and I could see red as only the weaker part of him. He does sing about his emotions but there's also a madness in them. Take hurt for example, that's loaded with things you could slap on a black card for flavor text. As for blue because he knows a lot of synthesizers seems like it's stretching it to be blue.

Perhaps some of the Angels could be like that, some were just created by a more powerful Angel in their image (I believe this is the case with Serra and Razia) but many Angels in Magic don't really sound like that. And what does innate-ness have to do with not having a class? The Metathran have classes, weren't they made as soldiers? Look at the second cycle of Replicas...they are made to be like a specific type of class, and that's what they are. If Angels in Magic are just physical embodiments of divine power or something, and they have armor and swords and are obviously skilled at using them...wouldn't that mean they are made to be knights, warriors, soldiers, etc.? And the Angels in Bant, they are believed to be reincarnations of noble soldiers...They didn't just suddenly become good at using swords and other knightly things when they became Angels if that's the case. No, I'd imagine they would retain their skills and perhaps find ways to improve them. Just look at Jenura, Asura of War. ASURA OF WAR. If that doesn't sound like a warrior, I don't know what does. But she also looks like a Knight, or Soldier. Yet she is none. Why?
The only real explanation I can think of is some vendetta against Angels at Wizards. Sure, there are lots of powerful Angels in Magic, but ever notice how many kill spells have Angels on them? I don't know if it's the artists choice or not, but the fact stands that there seems to be more kill spells targeting Angels than almost anything else. It doesn't even look impressive, because Angels don't really look SCARY or IMPOSING. Doesn't taking out a giant dragon for 2 mana seem more impressive than taking out a girl with wings?
There aren't really all that many kills spells with angels in them. The first one that comes to mind is Expunge, and Induce Despair, but nothing else comes to mind readily.
If someone had a "vendetta" against angels, and was actually in a position to control what art was used (pretty much only the art director) they would just stop using Angels. Change the iconic white creature type to Archons or something similar.

The only part that's "off color" is the "Pain" part, but even that kinda comes with the R of the card/ability. (Citadel of Pain, Crushing Pain, Flaring Pain, Pain Kami)
