Some of you may think that you have made great mistakes in your lives, and perhaps you have. But let me ask you this.... did you ever play strip poker with two fat chicks and win?

Vintage and Legacy
Vintage (called "Type 1") lets you play any card from any set except unglued/unhinged, and has some cards restricted to 1 copy and only the barest few banned, for things like Ante and game-within-games and physical actions. Legacy ("Type 1.5") also lets you play any card from any set, except instead of stuff being restricted to 1 copy, a much larger list of abusive cards is simply banned outright in order to balance it more. So basically the only difference is the banlist.
There are a few cards in NPH that will definitely see vintage/legacy play or sideboard, like mental misstep.

Loving this set. There's quite a few jank rares, and lots of strong uncommons, with exceptions for each rarity. SoWaP is nothing like I thought it'd be. Loving a lot of the black spells. Hate Melira. Tezzy's Gambit is amazing, etc. etc.
Whether or not it worked does not validate the play. That's hindsight probability. Let's say I offered you a bet -- I'm going to flip a coin and if it's heads, I'll give you 1 dollar but if it's tails, you'll give me 2 dollars. This is obviously a terrible bet for you. Accepting it is a bad decision. You can't justify it afterwards by arguing that you won the flip, therefore you made the right decision.

On Daily MTG a few days ago while discussing JTMS, Tom LaPille mentioned that there are at least two cards in New Phyrexia aimed specifically at dealing with planeswalkers. I took a quick glance over the cards, did anyone see anything that really stood out as far as answers for planeswalkers? I didn't really see anything but then, I was just scanning.

Hex Parasite and Despise are specifically aimed at planeswalkers
Ironically, both are CMC 1 spells that are countered for free by Mental Misstep

Hex Parasite and Beast Within seem pretty good at ridding the field of walkers.
Torpor Orb - Will it be enough to slam Titans off for aggro decks?
There are so many answer cards in this set.
Torpor orb seems better against caw-blade (on the play). It turns squadron hawks into poopy hawks and mystics into squires with a bland ability. Can't wait to see the (non-colored) artifacts now!!
what are the eternal formats?

If not red just got insane.
If you cant kill a planeswalker, you are not playing magic.
Anyway, time to hunt for the M12 godbook.

Take a mechanic from the pre-mirrodin era, and a mechanic after the mirrodin era, and create a card that flavorfully melds both mechanics.
I thought they might print a cycle.
Yea heh. There was a certain art I was looking for, was wondering if it was in the missing cards.
And yea I know there's basic lands, but when the title says "Entire set spoiled", usually it is the entire set spoiled
