The poison one has Hand of the Praetor and Putrefax? COOL! Metalcraft is also a nice theme deck, but the poison one seems the best and i don't even like poison that much.
I wish my 4/4s with haste and first strike that acted as Goblin Warchiefs were better and didn't die to instants and overshadowed all other 4 drops in the format. And that they had evasion too, and some way to dodge wrath effects.
these are honestly the best Starter Packs yet
Some good 2 and 3-ofs(which is honestly a function of upping the number to 60 again)
Rares people actually want
and very few cards from out ot this set (ie M11 cards)
How does the Relic Breaker deck not have any Liquimetal Coatings? That seems like an auto-include that they completely passed over for this deck...perhaps too strong of an interaction for precons?
I actually kind of want the metalcraft deck. I need a playset of Galvanic Blasts and Riddlesmith, more Trinket mage is never a bad thing, I need Memnites, and Etched Champion is pretty decent, I think.
How much are these? $12?

I like that WotC included very few M11 cards. It makes me feel better about purchasing a product of a new set when I'm getting NEW cards!
Indeed, there are only 15 M11 cards in total. That's 1/20 of all the decks put together!
Once again, I'm so happy that 60-card precons are back, they make 40-card ones look even more pathetic. Less singletons, less core set cards, more consistency, more power - what is there not to like?
And that bonus booster pack will have much better chances to be used for improving the deck in an artifact-heavy set.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Money wise Myr deck may be the best. Otherwise I am really impressed with the Poison one.
I picked up one for Open Duel and only lost one round against proliferate deck (damn Ichor Rat poisoned myself to death).
What's with the lands in these decks? I'm not talking about type I'm talking abotu quantity. 3 of the decks have 24 lands while 2 of them have 26. The 2 that have 26 don't really seem to need them while one of the ones with 24 seems like it needs more.
The B/G deck runs 26 lands while it's highest CC spell is 5 and there's only 1 of those in the deck.
The R/G deck runs 24 lands and has 10 spells with a CC 5 or higher.
That seem off to you guys or am I missing something? Why waste 2 card slots for land in decks that only seem to need 24 and why not give a deck that needs more land, more land?
Remember these are the intro decks. The first thing a Newbie player's going to do is take out 1 or 2 lands to put in the possibly playable cards from the included booster pack... in which case, WotC doesn't want them to be mana screwed. Better to have the decks have a high mana draw before a new player messes up his first time and has a bad experience with the game.
They are better in my opinion, but I wish there are more 4 ofs of staple commons to help newbies.
I dont know if they are good value for money, but I find it irrelevant because local sellers here always jack up the price such that they wont be worth buying anymore.
I'm all set to purchase 2 copies of myr and poison deck. Oh, and one can dream to open up a mox in one of the boosters lol. Seriously off-topic, but the moment I get one I'll sell it.

Really??? Hand of the praetors is going for about $5. I got lucky and somehow ended up with 2 in my sixty-ONE card intro pack and so the thing pretty much pays for itself.
