Unlike the metalcraft artifacts, this its a non-artifact and thus requires 3 other permanents instead of 2 other permanents- so its ability won't always be relevant. And doesn't protect from sweepers.
Plus its that whole issue of the "flagbearer" class. If you have a creature that gives everything else shroud, all that says is your opponent has to aim for that creature first. Making it not any more important than the old flagbearers

From the Green and Red (NON metal-craft) decks that can be built post Eldrazi, I am inclined to believe you. Absolutely insane getting a 8/8 trampler out 3rd turn reguarliy (Khlani Hydra + Elf Lord) or averaging a 4/5th turn kill with a mono-red deck.
There almost has to be artifact ramp madness similar to Grand Architect or mono-Red or Green would rule everything.
It's an instant speed 5/5 trampler for 4. Wtf do you people want seriously? It has applications in populate/ above the curve beats decks, or in Bant control/ flash. I seriously think anyone mad at this card for any reason other than losing an attacker to instant speed wurm, should go home and make their own awesome card game and leave the rest of us alone.
Lame. I am seriously disappointed. How the ☺☺☺☺ is a 4/4 an "archangel"? "Archangels" have always been huge. Well, except for Radiant, Archangel who is only huge, most of the time. This card might be okay, but the cool name (and gorgeous art) is wasted on a card that is... so so at best.

White power creep? This isn't even good. Probably a limited bomb, but in Constructed? Even if Baneslayer didn't exist, no one would run this; there are so many better options at 4 mana.

If this card hypothetically was as powerful as BSA at 4 mana it would be a ridiculous level of power creep in one set.
The fact that this thing is by far whites most efficient 4 mana flyer ever is already damn good. The fact that she plays like a Crystalline Sliver for artifacts is damn good. So really this card will see play. Even when her artifact ability isn't doing much for you you still have a 4/4 flyer for 4.
Asking her to be as good as BSA is like asking lightning bolt to do 4 damage since some 2 mana burn spells allow 4 damage.
I would love to pick this thing up from people for 3 bucks or less a copy then laugh at them months later.
some people on these boards just make me wanna rage, they arnt good at this game, and probably never will be cus they cant think for themselves and use bland arguements for their decision like "dies to removal".

"Dies to removal" isn't even a thing anymore. It's not an argument I've brought to bear on the Archangel, and I never will, because it's just a stupid argument. I'm making an argument that the Archangel shouldn't be Mythic; it should be rare. No one has yet presented me with reasons why this should be Mythic (or, if they have, I've been able to debunk them).
I'm not disputing that this is a powerful card; a 4/4 flier for 2CC is powerful in any color, the metalcraft ability will be relevant (be defination, I guess) in Standard and block; it's just an all round powerful card. It's good. I am not arguing about the power level of this card. I am arguing that it should never have been Mythic.
This thing is nutso in limited I am sure of it it will probably be pretty easy to get metalcraft active in limited since most decks will have the desire to do so.
So this chick basically makes your whole team untargetable until you can remove her.
Yeah that artifact removal in your hand is useless their buddy until you can remove this 4/4 angel of death.
Now while it might not be the most broken piece of cardboard in a limited environment it still is high up on the list. This is the reason every Planeswalker has been bumped to mythic mostly due to limited. But they try to act like it is based on a lot of other aspects like flavor and crap.

So the angel will be much harder to kill because everyone has to pack some serious artifact removal to not get run over. Well to be fair Tower Gargoyle has no drawback and it is a 4/4 flyer. A few of the other ones on that list have pseudo drawbacks. Mistbind Clique, Horobi, Death's Wail, Thought Devourer all have drawbacks but they can easily be played around or in same cases be better since you can abuse the drawback in your deck.
Obviously Tower Gargoyle takes 3 colors of mana though which is a pain. But that didn't stop Sprouting Thrinax from seeing play or Rhox War Monk.

Its mythic because too much of this ***** and liquimetal coating floating around in limited means shrouded flying 4/4's that make your entire deck, ifs that what you want, spot removal proof.
It's going to see play in U/W metalcraft with Argent Sphinx, Or W/G with Ezuri's Brigade. Liquimetal will make both, and Tempered steel might make either list.

Skill is an ability that relates more so to the type of deck that's built and how said player pilots it. It also relates to the ability to assess the board and use the cards available to you in the most optimal way relative to each situation.
When a deck is filled with above par cards and every play is solid, there comes a diminishing need to "think" for the lack of wanting to use a better word.
Not much longer, and we'll see the first Mythic land i'm afraid...
The first mythic land happened a while ago... Eye of Ugin.
I agree on the power creep, though I'm not terribly impressed by the card overall. The main reason I like the card is because it's a 4/4 flyer for 4. As far as the mythics go, I think my favorite thus far (other than the planeswalkers obviously) is the Masticore.

You mean Day of Judgment? Pretty powerful flyer though, not sure why it's mythic. I'ld say it's comparable to Emeria Angel in power.
