Leyline of the VOid 2BB
Enchantment
If Leyline of the Void is in your opening hand, you may begin the game with it on the battlefield.
If a card would be put into an opponents graveyard from anywhere, exile it insteald.
All I want is 1 copy for EDH. Could be a decent sideboard card in standard once we know whats in Scars....I doubt it will see a lot of play as its only real target in standard right now is Vengevine.

Well, if this makes Vengevine go down in price i will be VERY pleased, I want my set of the hasty green dude.
And not only that, leyline of void ?!, plus nankuto shade and much other good spoiled cards ?, m11 is so good it's almost ridiculous.

Quote from Caranthir »
Yawgmoth, the ruler of Phyrexia, Lord of the Wastes, Father of Machines, is DEAD. He's passed on. He is no more! He has ceased to be! He is expired and gone to meet his maker! He is a stiff! Bereft of life, he rests in peace! He kicked the bucket, He has shuffled off his (apparently)mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!
Although a staple in the older formats, I am wondering how much of an impact this will have, if any, on the current standard. It will obviously be a sideboard card, but is it worth using purely against Vengevine / Reliquary / Bloodghast and the like?
booo. i think they should have had all new leylines. bringing back void only solves vegevine in standard and dredge in extended.

Wow, this is going to destroy quite a few cards. Goodbye Sun Titan (What a ☺☺☺☺ing waste), Knight of the Reliquary, Vengevine, Bloodghast, Emeria Sky Ruin, etc. etc.
This seems uncalled for due to the variety of decks (colors) that use recurring abilities. This card is going to be sideboarded in every deck. This will probably be the most warping card of the entire set. I do not like this at all.
I suppose White will have to main deck Demystify now.
Oh, yes, thank you! Very happy to see this back in print with Vengevine running rampant. By the by, amazing Rob Alexander artwork on there.
Can that man ever fail at painting? I think not.
This does more than people realize. In addition to stopping cards that actually return from the graveyard like Vengevine and Bloodghast, it shuts down "put into graveyard" triggers like Sprouting Thrinax, Kalastria Highborn, etc.
This is beautiful. I personally like the red one better, but I play red. I hope white and green get new ones though, because theirs were lacking as much as red and blue.

Remembering that White and Green have the most enchantment removal I don't think this card will be lethal, however I do like the increase in answers to answers.

Yes, you are right, but I don't particularly like how much this hard-counters certain strategies. Seems lazy on Wizards part. Now every deck is going to be playing these and destroy enchantment cards. Not exciting having to fill up critical card space for these. I suppose they could go in sideboard, but you would have a very good chance of losing the first match if you did that. Bleh...not exciting whatsoever.
Awesome! This will be a sideboard staple in any Black/x control deck!
No more Vengevine, Thrinax tokens, Slime tokens, or any goofy graveyard tricks. It does make Liliana Vess's ultimate rather pointless, so I don't see it as a maindeck card for MBC, but a 3 or 4 of sideboard card for sure.
I'm miffed that black doesn't get a new one, no matter how ridonkulously good this one is.
I'd much rather have a... well, one that helped the deck running it rather than hurting the opponent's deck. (Like the blue one)
But still, amazing card that is cool to have back.

That's definitely right. Unfortunately, it's ironic, since this neuters Keening Stone.
And Knight of the Reliquery and Bloodghast and Sun Titan...
Btw, can someone advise how this works with the Legendary Eldrazi.
Seems kind of uncalled for in today's standard. Maybe it's for new extended?
