Assassin: an undead one, I suppose, like Stronghold Assassin or brand new one.
Merfolk (sort of): Lord of Atlantis (hopefully)
Beast: Leatherback Baloth
Dragon spitting fire: Shivan Hellkite or something modified
Dragon with something shining in its possession (?): Covetous Dragon/Dragon Mage
White (obviously) card: Righteousness could be... or Divine Transformation (improved version of it)
We know the dragon will not beCovetous Dragon due to the fact of him being on the reserve list
my guess is all the cards or at least half of them will be completely new cards not reprints at all
Interviews were done saying that the leap that M2010 took from 10th Edition will not be the same jump that M2011 will make from M2010. In other words, the transformation of the core set will not be dramatic to say the least.
We will get a few new cards in the rare and mythic slots, my guess is that the uncommon slot will change the most, and we will get all of the common limited and constructed staples.
Get hyped all you want for the art, it's pretty much what you will be paying for.

Yet, a 5R costed 7/6 Dragon with Flying and that dies when you don't control artifacts is not on the list because it doesn't exist. Nor is a 3RR costed 6/4 with the same abilities.
Much like how Mind Spring is mostly Braingeyser, all it really takes is to go "At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control no artifacts, sacrifice Greedy Dragon." instead of making it a continuous check.
Wizards is very good at massaging old cards into the form that they want them into being if it's judged right for a set, so the question is more "how much do they want Covetous Dragon, and how close to the original will it be?"
I have no idea why anyone would ever want personal incarnation back. It was horrible in the time of alpha, beta. Terrible in the time of 4th/5th. And is still terrible by any stretch of the definition.
I honestly wouldn't mind it being tideshaper. It could be worse. It could be pearl trident. Now that would be upsetting to me. I can think of times tideshaper would be good, actually. Id love to turn some attacklands to islands so they cant block.
Heres my deal with that card. I hope its something amazing, but not a new merfolk lord. I like sovereign. I don't like it as much as lord of atlantis... but She's saved me more times then I can count (Playing a half counter half aggressive merfolk deck that has actually been working for me.) I'd love to see her reprinted since I wont get lord of Atlantis, but my merfolk deck is short of one more key card that could really make it awesome. I'm hoping this card is that key card.
Now I set my self up to be extra mad when it is a pearl trident... but meh. At least I'll have cool merfolk art sleeves, with out using the card.
white one is Righteousness, red is covetus dragon with slight changes (p/t,cmc), and black is royal assassin. the first two id bet a testicle on, the last one is just a hunch.
I think the white one with be Serra Avatar with "if this creature would be put into a graveyard, shuffle it into its owner's library". That stops it from being a functional reprint enough to dodge the reserve list, right?

Did I not hear somewhere that 60% of this set would be new or something? Or was that hearsay?
It does seem like we will be seeing LOTS of new art, which probably means new cards,
The only ones that seem pretty obvious to me are Michael Komarck for the skeleton guy, and Jason Chan for the firebreathing dragon.
The knight looks like Argyle.
Also, I'd call the merfolk being Tideshaper Mystic
