Actually, I would see grixis control playing See Beyond because, unlike treasure hunt, it garantees you 2 cards. Sometimes Hunts just goes like flip ---> soji. The drawback isn't too much of a draw back. I basicly says draw 2 discard a card which is fine IMHO. The only thing you want turn two are your following landdrops so you can just pitch a cruel or something you'll never cast anytime soon... It's a matter of preference I believe. We'll see what the sets offer us before judging.
See Beyond is perfect for when you draw some giant Eldrazi like Emrakul in your opener. Shuffle that back for later. So in that sense it IS card advantage, when the card you're shuffling back isn't something you would have been able to cast for 10 or so turns, but which you do want eventually. It's a great way to unmulligan.

Draw two, then thuffle a card from your hand into your library.
Not great I think. For two cards I'm more willing to pay 2 life (Sign in Blood) then losing a card. 1U for two cards as a sorcery without a drawback would certainly be too powerful; with two attempts already (Ior Ruins Expedition and this), I want to see the result when they finally get the drawback right. (What equals 2 life?)
Nest Invader
1G
Creature-Eldrazi Drone
When this ETB, put a spawn token into play.

I really love cards like this. Two mana for two critters is awesome, since that Lightning Bolt will still leave something. Like a third turn Garruk or Ant Queen, for example.
Growth Spasm
2G
Sorcery
Search your library for a basic land an put it into play tapped. Put a spawn token into play.
Rampant Growth variants are always welcome.

At the beginning of your upkeep, put a spawn token into play.
Blood Pet-blossom! Anyway, this looks fun. For ramping, feeding, Overruning or chump-blocking... your choice.
Runed Servitor

When it is put into a battlefield, each player draws a card.

Interesting. Somehow my first thought is putting it in my burn deck... I don't know about effectiveness, but red decks are this desperate for an answer to Kor Firewalker.
But I do like a weird card like this! And I'm glad that 2/2 for 2 is now allowed, with this mostly symmetric drawback/drawforward(?).
Ondu Giant
3G
Creature
2/4
When it comes into play, rampant growth.
Also, the hill giant deck is almost as feasible as the grizzly bear deck!
I was wondering where the love for this card was. So far, it's one of the 5 card that I am most excited about. I love shuffling crap away and with Jace 2, this thing looks like it'll purr.
Mind you, if this name is accurate and it is an Eldrazi Drone, doesn't that open up a new naming template for the rest of the set? If I'm not mistaken this would be the first Eldrazi Drone without a name referencing one of the titans.
@CaptainBant - I don't know you, you don't know me...maybe its better that way. I just wanted to say thanks for your troubles and service. Without people like you this forum would be hoping for other sites to get their spoilers and having the admins wait for midnight to see what WOTC feels like spoiling.
See Beyond is the draw spell Zen block needed for Summoning Trap.dek...it pretty much completed the deck...and replaced Treasure Hunt.
I know everyone on this forum are more so fans of Standard, but Zen block is really fun...its limited, but still challenging.

I like current block formats the most.
Its so limited to its power scale against other formats.
Block constructed should be a more competitive format like it was back in Champions or Ravnica.

It'd be the second, there are two so far. Both from this thread. Nest Invader and Repacious One. We're out out "Three King" references, see below.
Emrakul- 5 (Four for the big guy himself, one for his Hand) Emrakul's- 3 (Two for the hatcher, One for the Hand.)
Kozilek- 6 (Three for the King, two for the Artisan, one for Inquisition.) Kozilek's- 2 (The Predator.)
Ulamog- 9 (Two for Pathrazer, two for the Pawn, four for the big guy himself, and one for Spawnsire) Ulamog's- 2 (The Crusher.)
If anyone wants to keep *****ing about blue not getting jack after seeing See Beyond, then you guys are unpleasable. Could very well be one of the best card quality spells we've seen in quite some time. Absolutely ridiculous with Jace 2.0, as most shuffle effects are.
Just to play devil's advocate, the card advantage on this is exactly the same as it is on Brainstorm (just replacing the original spell itself).
Any one else notice how see beyond is a weird version of Lat-Nam's Legacy . I guess we have to have it at sorcery in standard otherwise things would be to out of hand. I still love me some Nam legacy for my edh decks though.
Mmm, all the spawn tokens in green make a g/r eldrazi deck look very yummy.

Mr LaPille is not surprizingly quite nice in person, and yes we were playing preconstructed decks, apparently Mr. LaPille designed them for this set. I got to play a Black/Red one, but enough early fliers and I won easily.
And that's it folks! Hope you enjoyed it. I don't think I'm actually going to put up pictures for these, since it's a lot of work, and it was hinted that they will be officially spoiled very soon. See you all later / next set!

Well considering the love for the Spawn Tokens, it could have very weasily been "+1/+1 for each spawn token you control."
