Nothing new: Lorwyn Ponder have merfolk nipples. It seems they stopped stupid censorship motivated only by one country (skulls for China, nipples for USA).
and with the closing of the other threads, I agree with the one poster who suggested actually including the other pictures in this thread, so there might be another, but this was one that was in a now locked thread

Anyone else notice the Dragon outline in the Sarkhan Vol Art?? That is bad ass
Gideon as a Planeswalker will be sweet. Thought he was a badass in Puriflying Flame and I like how he generally cares about saving innocent peoples lives. But is he on Zendikar to make friends with Chandra or "Make Friends" with Chandra, thats the real question.
The girl with the blood on her face looks like Elspeth but she really does not fit into the Zendikar lore being that I figured she was trying to go back to her Homeworld that is infested with Demons.
Either Way all the artwork is bad ass.
She has a hood with embroiderly and sigil looking things around her neck, and it looks like she is guilty and atoning. Definitely elspeth flavored but I doubt it.
"Rumor images" means that some fan put these together as a representation of what he'd like to see (for example, the image he used for his "memnor" mockup is kozliek from another perspective etc). They even say "mockup" where the illustrator normally appears (except Sarkhan). On the other hand, i've got to hand it to the guy - the ghost rider ghostflame is pretty funny:
So, nothing new here. The demon image thedup posted, on the other hand... seems to be black creature art.
Except that all of the colorless cards are likely to have full frame art. Its a little hard to notice, but check out the original ghostfire: its got the see-through frame, just like Kozi.

I'm dying to know what card this art is going to be used for.
Asking out a girl is like trying to cast a first turn Necropotence. Sometimes the other player will have the Force of Will to say no. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying it.
At first, I was adamantly convinced that it was going to be a Grinning Demon reprint based on the artwork alone, but after finding out more details behind the art (it was meant initially as side-work alternate art for Grinning Demon) the possibility of it being used for any other card is high, and reintroducing Morph into RotE just seems weird.

The angel art has to be a pacifism effect. The angel is holding her staff up to this vicious looking creature, and it has what looks to be a magic symbol on it's head that is in the same shape as the glowing part on her staff. To me, it really looks like her magic is holding the creature back.
Is that Iona without a halo around her eyes? It seems that "Emeria might be freed." The guy with that expedition crew looks a bit like lord of extinction, too. The guy above looks like the grinning demon. can't wait for the cards to be spoiled tomorrow
Didn't read the whole thread but I read somewhere that Sorin is back in zendikar to bring back balance or something and he is waiting for his unknown planeswalker pals who were in zendikar last time with him. Would gideon be one of them or are we still waiting for those guys?
Three powerful planeswalkers—a dragon called Ugin, a stone-shaping lithomancer about whom little is known, and a vampire known as Sorin Markov—came to Zendikar's aid, but even they could not destroy the Eldrazi. In a dramatic, desperate act of spellcraft, the planeswalkers trapped the Eldrazi on Zendikar, dooming the plane but hoping to spare the rest of the Multiverse from the Eldrazi hunger. Zendikar became the Eldrazi's prison, held fast by a mystical lock-spell concealed deep within a subterranean chamber known as the Eye of Ugin. The three planeswalkers left the plane, hoping their trap would hold.
Yes Sorrin is back no Gideon is not one of the sealers because he is a Heiromancer not a lithomancer or a dragon.

I'm failing to see how that picture looks like Sarkhan. In the books does he come to the Zendikar plane? That art looks more like a vampire...but there is that dragon in the foreground...
Haha #4 is mine too! I'm predicting #14 is Ulamog. He's also pictured in #17 to the right of Nissa. It's from a front view so he looks a little different but his head is the same (it's more hollow looking from below and more solid looking from above), he has two main arms with discernible shoulders, same chest plate thing like summoned skull from yu gi oh.
No.
I'm not saying #14 for sure isn't Ulamog, nor am I saying #17 for sure isn't Ulamog. But those are not the same critters. Sorry.

how does it not look like Vol? it looks exactly like vol...
and yes, Vol is on Zendikar, go read the PW comics and you'll see Vol make an appearance in Chandra's Zen story comic

Flowstone wasn't actually stone. It was tiny tiny robots.
1. It's epic.
2. It looks like they're about to slay a flying spaghetti monster.
3. The artwork drew me in.
Very pleased with the art.
