How precisely does one get the Gateway promos? I missed out on the Duelist and Nighthawk last time. And when I ask people how they got them, everyone is real tight lipped as if it is some dark arcane secret. Or you need some shady dealer in a trench coat in the back alley behind the shop.

Because that Firewalker is pretty awesome and I'd love to get him.

Its depending on your TO on how he like it to be given away. As for me, I will be giving it out for players whom playing sanction games or even during FNM.

The Gateway promos are probably some of the sickest ones ever to come from Wizards. Thanks for keeping up the good work!

At first I thought the Firewalker was Kratos from God of War! haha.

We've been giving them out at Highlander events and sometimes as door prizes at out normal weekly events. Ask your TO to order the kit (if they haven't) or ask them to give them out for something.

We usually get them as well as possibly leftover prerelease/release foils for events that don't have foils of their own. That way, we can have shiny cards for every event (we only have one tournament most weeks due to the shop's entire staff being the store owner)

I think the Firewalker art looks stupid tbh, but w/e. Foil Firewalker is bound to be worth something.

well weve known about that leatherback baloth picture for a while.

I like the original kor firewalker art better because it reminds me of the vulture unit from starcraft

The Leatherback Baloth was the first Worldwake card we saw, months ago, so it's already had a whole thread discussing it.

I wouldn't say that. Path to Exile got a promo and is still worth more than most rares and serveral mythics.

Loam Lion's promo was hardly easy to get, so I expect them to retain value. Plus, Nighthawk didn't drop at all with it's Gateway release.
