What kinds of possibilities do you guys see with selective memory and treasure hunt?
seismic assault
(for the slow: selective memory all your nonland cards out except seismic assault...and maybe another treasure hunt. cast treasure hunt. proceed to pwn faces)
rawr...must..make...deck....
Could "Eldrazi" spells refer to spells with Eldrazi in their name, a la Eldrazi Monument? Other than that, I could see colorless creatures with the type Eldrazi; I highly doubt they'd introduce a new subtype like they did for Trap.
As a connoisseur of fun, interesting matches, I still to this day have not been able to craft that "perfect deck"; the deck that I can play and have fun over time, doesn't get boring, but simultaneously is fun to play against. I honestly don't think it exists. It's like a unicorn. A ninja unicorn.

Eldrazi will be a new creature type. Individual words in a card's name aren't something cards recognize, just entire names.
Why is it not possible that Eldrazi could be a supertype?
It's just very unlikely. Supertypes are there not so much to describe, but to confer to cards a special rules qualification. Legendary, Snow, and Basic all have good reasons to be supertypes.
Eldrazi, on the other hand, is a categorization of creature. If you're saying they're somehow superior to being creatures (as Planeswalkers are), then at the very most it would be a new card type. However, that seems incredibly unlikely as the Eye of Ugin's purpose seems to be on casting colorless Eldrazi creatures.

baneslayer this, baneslayer that. Can you guys silence for at least five minutes about that card? getting me sick...
Archon is somewhat good, (obv pales in comparison to that aforementioned angel) but I guess that's a sign that BSA won't be coming in the next core set.

I'd sure hope so, I'm tired of hearing about this incredibly overpriced piece of cardboard. The dude goes well with flying fatties though

If you see someone playing a control deck, the following strategy is considered acceptable: 1) Slowly reach upward 2) Grab your opponent firmly by the throat 3) Squeeze 4) ???? 5) Profit...and a fountain of red Kool Aid!!!
WWK will not have eldrazis, not yet, just angry earth, after angry earth, the real enemys will emerge, at rise of the eldrazi, so keep your eye of ugin it gonna be super high price later one, me thinks of knight of the reliquary
selective memory has to be one of the worst rares I have ever seen. What a waste of cardboard. Can't wait to open at least 6 of this pile of garbage... sigh.
Something tells me that it may be beneficial to pick up a playset of Eye of Ugin and Lodestone Golem ASAP. Something tells me that would be a smart move for the future set. . .

Beauty of mine, sit before me. Let me peruse you and remember you... always like this.
I still dont see how a card that does essentially nothing in the set that its in is actually real... unless there are Eldrazi in WorldWake?
There is no "Eldrazi" requirement on the tutor ability.
"7,t: Search your library for a colorless creature card, reveal it and put it in your hand. Then shuffle your library."
Eye seems oddly similar to a rumored [RoE] card.
Something like
Tap: 1 colorless to your pool.
Tap: 2 colorless to your pool. Spend this only on colorless Eldrazi spells or permanents.
Selective Memory + Treasure Hunt could lead to some sort of silver bullet deck. Don't think that standard has enough silver bullets to support that though.
I could see the two working together with seismic assault. . . that's all I got.
Eye of Ugin. Anyone think picking up a couple of these would be worthwhile before 'Rise. . . ' comes out? I'm just thinking of the dramatic rise in relevance for Vamp. Nocturnus. before and after Zendikar came out.
I don't think the Changeling interaction works currently, because no Eldrazi creatures have been printed yet. Once Rise of the Eldrazi is released, that will change, but in the meantime this card has no interaction with Changelings.

If your signature takes up more lines than your actual post does, you should fix one or both of them.
So were these from a known rumor-monger at first? I can't remember the name of who "spoiled" them, since I didn't recognize their name. I just don't feel like Eye of Ugin is...right. For one, Wizards has stated multiple times that RoE is meant to be drafted by itself, separate from Zendikar and WWK. So it seems kinda janky to then toss in a mechanic for RoE on a WWK card. Secondly, if Eldrazi were just a creature subtype it seems kinda pointless that the land would be phrased "colorless Eldrazi spells," which indicates that it wants to be more than just a creature subtype, but the one Eldrazi card we have so far, the Monument, does not have this as a type, supertype, nor subtype.
And to anyone who says, "Durrpdurr it's on da official spoilar," I still have the bitter taste of Gilded Lotus being added to the official spoiler for M10.

About Mindslaver rulings:
There aren't. There is only one instance of Eldrazi in the orb.
Colour me skeptical.

No, for the same reason black ward doesn't remove black ward. Not that it would even if it could, due to that peculiar piece of rules text bueahaehae

Selective memory, remove everything except seismic assault. Treasure hunt the next turn and you've probably won the game.
Not consistent, but fun.
