It's double-sided as you and your opponent can see what each other's score is. Goes to 50 (49). Been pointed out that it's been seen before, and yes, it is a little pain to put together. Not bad, wouldn't pay for it though.

We got some. They had to have been the most frustrating things ever and once someone learned how to construct them (at the end of fnm) it was not that cool, lol.
these were the "special, never before done" life counters they bragged about a while back. essentially, these suck. they are annoying to put together, hardly work, and look tacky. way to go wizards. and by the way, these are not new.
Also, I noticed that, although they can be read from both sides, the "You" and "Me" labels are reversed. Graphic design fail.
Edit: I'm assuming that people read "Me" on a life counter as the owner of the life counter. Even if that's not the norm, it's still a bad choice of words.
I think some people don't understand that the Mirrans are the bad guys. Arcbound Ravager is Mirran. Phyrexia are the good guys coming in to conquer an evil, evil world.
You might want to give this more time so that way you can see if your feelings persist. If they do, they return to play with a -1/-1 counter and you gain 2 life.
Yep, old info. This was the dealer incentive for buying your Zendikar cases straight from Wizards of the Coast. They were a pain to put together, didn't work right, and looked horrible.

it's a cool idea in concept, but doesn't work in practice for the same reasons as you don't want your opponent keeping your life total with a die, or a spindown.
well if anyone has some to give away, i would like one.
I may have a stack of 50 or so in my store, if I didn't already throw them away. They were terrible.
Utterly trash. Near impossible to put together.
I sincerely miss the days of release event side loader boxes and simple side life counters. They weren't always great art, but at least they were useful.

No, they're supposed to be reversed, so "Me" is the player who's reading it (see life points in the pics on WotC's site).
I've got 80 of these put together in my car. I was going to try to sell them for fifty cents each, but no one wanted them even if they were put together.

It's understandable blue control players would be shocked and in denial at the notion of this card, since their decks have been dominating multiple formats for an eternity yet they've curiously never once had to deal with any counter-hosers that weren't ineffectual, narrow CRAP.

you know what they say about when you assume...
The counter has a stand, it is inteded to stand up between the players with one side facing each player, You is the player it is not facing, Me is the player it is facing...
The labels are correct.

Alternatively {UB} or {2B} in [mana] tags are (U/B) or (2/B) T is :symtap: and T will give T in [mana] tags

Can't me and you both be interpreted to mean "the player the thing is facing"? It's a horrible choice of words. Saying Opponent would have been way better.
Celestial Colonnade: "Baneslayer, Sphinx, you are such wonderful finishers!"
Baneslayer: "Thank you! I never could have done it without you backing me up to pay my casting cost."
Sphinx: "Yeah, big props to you, you're not a bad finisher yourself!"
Me too. Living in a zone were there a LOT of promotions we just hear about, but are never a part of them, this small things will meant a LOT to our players.
I will be playing at PT San Diego if someone really wants to do something something big for a small comunity

This is really old news because one of these have been sitting in my office for 3 months.
Buy from me on TCGPlayer::Twitter::Flickr
Most of them ended up in the trash however, because nobody wanted to take the time to put them together.
Yeah. Midnight release I went to the proprietor handed the bloody puzzle boxes out, and I think one of them actually got fully assembled.
