Why is it that everytime I see the artwork for the angel I love it so, but I think wizards would waste is as a aura of some sorts *slaps self 10000x for thinking is an aura!*

So, is there still anyone who denies that there will be enemy colored aspects to the Alara Block now? What with a Angel who is very clearly a White and Black Angel (white clothes + Black Halo) plus possibly also being Red (red wings)... making for possible Enemy color Wedges!!!
For the love of God, does every piece of new art we see have to be considered a Planeswalker?! "OMG ANGEL PLANESWALKER!! OMG SPHINX PLANESWALKER!!" What exactly is wrong with five Planeswalkers per block? There are already 10 available to use!
Just because we only currently have 10 Planeswalkers, does not mean we won't be getting more. Nor does it mean we will be limited to only 5 per block... or even 5 per set... that would be just a waste.... seriously, the 5 per block mechanic was done in Lorwyn because it was a good way to start as we have 5 natural mono-colors, and thus 5 natural colors to start with. However now that we are delving into multi-colored Planeswalkers, there is no such requirement for limiting Planeswalkers per set or even block.
I'm about to eat my words guys.... the knight on the Alara Reborn box seems to have red blue and green on his armor... Wedge?

Pretty sure that it is just Knight of New Alara. He supports all of Alara afterall.
Yes but look at the art, only red blue and green are displayed and quite prominently I might add.

One day, I'd like for them to be cute with a booster pack image Arcana, by showing the card (blank) representing the booster image. So we'd see the card name and mana cost (and maybe number and rarity?!), but nothing else. Perhaps as an Easter Egg/Week 0 of sorts.
I really don't think the guy on the booster box is Knight of New Alara. In recent memory, the art of the prerelease and release card tend to be pretty well aligned -- but these two look nothing alike. Knight of New Alara is pretty clearly a Bant knight, a polished-armor guy on a white horse, decorated in green and white barding to clearly indicate his own colors.
Whereas booster-box guy has a very different overall appearance, and does indeed seem to be wearing armor with color bars filled in precisely in red, blue, and green. I'm not gonna take that as proof of any kind, myself, but I'd be extremely shocked if this was the illustration to a card that wasn't at least red, blue, and green.
While it would very cool to have the Green Guy be Coiling Oracle, the fact that the dude does not resemble an elf at all seems to refute that. The humanoid in fact looks very much like a green-skinned Vedalken. Snake Vedalken Druid?
Or maybe just a green-aligned vedalken who puts a snake token into play.
Did it occur to anyone that the Vedalken/Zombie/Elf (I'm going with the Vedalken theory, but if Momir Vig's an Elf, that sure could be - look at his art) could be Sage of the Anima? It's a UG card that we have confirmed, and this is almost certainly a UG card - the blatantly obvious hint given in the blue glow to the snake's eyes.
If you're following the Vedalken theory, they are notorious for wizardry and wisdom - we've had Druids of the Anima before, maybe the Anima hired some outside help in this "Sage". It's worth consideration - I can see some Esperites going back to nature.
Edit: I went to the thread which spoiled them and there is no art in the Japanese scan remotely like the Zombie/Snake thing. There goes that theory, not that I was very sure of it anyway.

It coudl be Coiling Oracle sicne the orginal art dosent look like an elf and naya is full of sage like elfs like elfish visonary
I heard it mentioned somewhere that Malfegor killed asha so maybe that angel is her re-animated corpse.
1) Asha died several hundreds year ago.
2) The angel is not undead.
3) Asha is a name, but also a title. This angel may very well be a new Asha, i.e. a new angel who has risen to the highest rank.

Except for the fact that we have a scan from the Japanese magazine and it is NOT this art.

I assume the booster box image is the regular Knight of New Alara(?) art.

Coiling Oracle was the first thing I thought of when I saw it. Hopefully it's a reprint or maybe even an upgraded version.
