Edit:
According to Scott Larabee, who was involved in selecting Treva:
Mirari's Wake was "not received as well as hoped"; Eternal Dragon was "very well received", so they "wanted to go back to a big creature".
The PT foil was competing against From the Vault: Dragons for dragons, so it seems they ended up with one of the less exciting ones.
pictures? PLEASE! i love the original art.... please give us the art.

I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.
Treva was my second favorite of the Invasion dragons. As soon as it can be released can someone scan a pic of it? I can't find any images just info so I assume it's WAAAAYYYY to early.
The people attending PTs or PT side events tend to be Spikes or wannabe-Spikes. Mirari's Wake is a Spike-Johnny card. Treva, on the other hand, is a Timmy card.

agreed, this is awful... no one liked eternal dragon because "it was a big creature" it was liked because it was played... Treva is awful.
This really should have been Rith, Nicol Bolas, or Bogardan Hellkite.

The only good thing about this post is the edible chocolate roaches they gave out! Mmm mmm!

Wait a minute, edible roaches don't crawl! EDIBLE ROACHES DON'T CRAWL!
I made a Rith deck that just wrecked house, never got to try it competitively because I live way to far away from any card stores or tournament venues. Treva was just horrible and probably my least favorite of the Invasion Dragons. I figured with it being PT, that they would at least give out something cool that's played in a lot of tournament quality decks, not trade fodder for Timmy's. I think a braindead monkey could chose better promo's than the guys at Wizards.
Treva isn't something I'd give away at Worlds. It reminds me of the Force of Nature I got at the 9th release. Iconic but no one except collectors wants it. If Wizards absolutely had to do a dragon why not do Yosei, Keiga, or Ryusei? I'd have said Kokusho or Bogarden Hellkite but they just got reprinted in FTV and Niv-Mizzet was already a promo. I'm not one to judge a creature by its size. I'd jump for joy if they were giving away alternate art Bobs cuz a Bob is a Bob and a foil Bob is the sex(that would go great in my EDH deck!).
I like Treva, but then again I love any Dragon. I would go and get 4 just so I could rebuild all of my "Invasion" Dragon Decks (including the PC Dragons).
With all, put the same thing except with / in front of what type of tags they are (like [/card]) to close them.

This does not make sense to me. Is Treva, the Renewer really going to do any better than Mirari's Wake?
