Or even that the card's about the Vedalken rider and is called something like "Vedalken Skyrider" and has nothing to do with the Gargoyle outside of the card's mechanics, thus depriving everyone of happiness at the awesome gargoyle.
Heck, after the Eventide selkie art and the Esper girl with the orbs, now when I see awesome art, I just hope it'll be used on a card. Hopefully a good one, but at least see print (And NOT as a set promo art teaser, either. That doesn't count.).
Hey maybe the chick with the orbs will be printed in Con, maybe they felt the art wouldn't fit well enough on the battlemage like most of us speculated, and she was thrown into the Art Graveyard for later use during this block. the art's fantastic. They MUST use her eventually
In all honesty, i can see the Vedalken riding the gargoyle to be some fat. Easy. the size of that gargoyle just screams My P/T are FREAKING HUGE. the Vedalken however, most likely will be the center of the card.

how do we know conflux will be enemy color focused? I admit Dragonsoul Knight from the cardlist sounds very R/W but it's the same thing they did with shadowmoor and eventide. Seems kinda repetative.

Wow nice finds, while the Ooze art is my favorite of the three, the Aven image is stunning! I'm kind of fond of th gargoyle but something about it turns off to me.
The owls look really great. I think it's the first time I've seen an owl with anthromorphic limbs.. sweet.
Edit: I don't think they're Aven Squire, but rather Aerie Mystics.
Also, the Esper Gargoyle... the background seems to be less striking in color/brilliance. Something must be amiss here. The vedalken appears to be less logical and more desperate. Perhaps he is fueled by fire now?

Aerie Mystics sounds about right. What are you talking about with the vedalken? I see no sign of desperation. I see a grim emotionless frown. Pretty much inline with the other vedlken we've seen sofar. Other than the name "Dragonsoul Knight" I see no sign of enemy color pairs sofar.

I don't think I've ever seen a vedalken riding another "creature" per se. I say this speaking from art alone. They've always had the appearance of being in power.
In this picture, he is still in power, but he is sitting and riding (notice his hand is on his knee, giving a "tired" feeling to the character. His brow also appears to be furrowed.) He is not commanding the gargoyle but laboring along with it. The last instance of a Vedalken interacting with a gargoyle is Tower Gargoyle in which it appears the vedalken has instructed the gargoyle to go find more etherium (notice his hands behind his back). That's just what it appears to be.
Also, Tower Gargoyle is more "artistic" in appearance. Look at his head. In this picture however, there tends to be less abstract thinking done to the newer creations and it has more of a human feel to it. Also, other gargoyles have usually had some sort of animal feel to their facial features. The Esper gargoyles don't seem to.
Think golems in terms of artificial human-like facial features and then compare that to those of gargoyles.
You can also notice that the background is very bleak and the spires are seemingly covered with soot and the sky is darker/smoggier (sp?) as opposed to the shining spires and clear skies of the previously discussed card which suggests things burning.
This makes me believe that the U aspect of Esper is deteriorating (from the influx of fire infusing with water/air during the Conflux) and is being replaced with R. Which would leave RWB artifact creatures or combinations thereof. Not to say blue still wouldn't be present in some form somewhere, but from this picture that is what I feel to be happening.
Perhaps it is Darklit Gargoyle and is a 2/3 artifact creature, 1WRB with maybe a 1U flying activation cost? *shrug*

Bah. The things you point out are all very abiguous and could mean many different things.
Hand on the knee is somthing everybody does tired or resting or simply without an armrest.
Yous say he's nto commanding but labouring along with it yet i see no sign of labor. He's not even using reins. He's probobly controlling it telepathically.
I don't see spires covered with soot. I see spires surrounded by mist with a magical luminescence to it. Theres no orange fiery glow that would hint at anything burning.
I believe your jumping to conclusions with this. You want enemy color pairs so your seeing enemy color pairs.

In terms of art, the Tower Gargoyle's Vedalken has given it a command and it, the gargoyle, is carrying it out freely.
In this one, he is commanding it, but he is having to maintain the commands, hence the reason he is riding with it ("...laboring along...") That to me suggests a lack in abundant blue mana sources (which would give logical/analytical thinking to artificial creatures which are in fact those colors), hence the reason the vedalken is riding along and continuing to maintain it so that it won't just forget what it's doing and stare at the ground... lol
Also notice there is FIRE burning within his chest and his eyes are glowing the same color. Or it could just be from the glow of super-heated, freely suspendable etherium spheres. ("Computer, is there another Etherium Sphere on board?"... lol.)
Jokes aside, I do believe there will be enemy color wedges. I may in fact be seeing what I want to see.
To be honest, the card art and most of the card names don't screem "enemy colors!", albeit some of them do, and many more are hard to tell. I think conflux is going to have some other primary gimmick, with the full enemy colors treatment arriving in scissors.
it does scream what I've speculated about Conflux however, the Arts do call out We're two original colors, And one Enimy Color. So Grixis would Be BR and W or BU and G

Another thing i'd like to point out is that there are already enemy color pairs in Shards. Jhessian Infiltrator for example. I don't see much point in making the big theme of their second set somthing they already did in the first set. Though in all honesty I think we've seen wierder things from them in the past. But yeah I'm doubtfull and hopefull that Conflux is not an enemy color focused set.
Heh Light from Within......I love that card so much. My Knight deck has never been stronger. U/R I think not.

I love the Bloodball Ooze artwork. Just imagine, that you are hiding from the Dragons on Jund down in this forest cave. All of the sudden, this ooze, drops down from the ceiling, and covers the entrance like in the artwork. They systematically it starts making its way to the back of the cave, allowing no escape, until it envelops its "catch".
Other than the name "Dragonsoul Knight" I see no sign of enemy color pairs sofar.
Even the "Dragonsoul Knight" doesn't have to have an enemy pair. There are mono-red knights in magic. So from what we know he could just as easily be red as red/white.

Well, it has been updated with new stuff with each of the five shards of alara.
Most of the art is from Shards, but there are some new stuff.
I think that all of them are the last picture, so clicking the left arrow and looking at the rightmost art shows you them.
I would post them here, but I honestly should be working on my math HW.
This might need to be merged witht the new art for mr. Vol thing because it is the same source, but I trust the mody judgement on this.
Edit: couldn't find any new grixis or naya art.
