What better place for a fictional dictator to hang than Central America?
Eh, Montevideo is the capìtal city of Uruguay, which would work a lot harder than the rest of the wolrd to be more to the south.
In clear english, is in south america.

Nice! I've always wanted an Un-standard or Un-extended tournement! (un sets + banned/restricted cards from said format) hopefuly this will actualy happen...
EDIT: despite my lack of a rubber brain I have emailed Gleemax with a message that clearly isn't devoid of either e's or !'s and asked if there are any un tourney plans

The only good thing about this post is the edible chocolate roaches they gave out! Mmm mmm!
*crawl crawl*
Wait a minute, edible roaches don't crawl! EDIBLE ROACHES DON'T CRAWL!
Does Gleemax have any signifigance outside of Magic? Is he a character in D&D or any other RPG? It seems strange that these brains would be sent to non-Magic players, unless of course it somehow pertained to them as well. (Lorwyn is the D&D set.)

The Gleemax is an inside joke for WotC (not JUST the Magic dept). He is supposedly the mastermind behind the whole company.
i got one to and i dont remember ever putting my address on anything to wizards of the coast.
Do you or have you ever had a DCI card so you could play in tournaments? Well then they have your address.

Just wanted to chime in about the Ryan Miller / Hecatomb connection. They actually ran two "seasons" of the ARG (alternate reality game, linky here), and both were designed to release spoilers from the Hecatomb sets. So rather than a drab couple of weeks where we got an article a day, every time we solved a puzzle, a new card or piece of information would come to light.
It made it very interesting, and it also made the players of the ARG more invested in the game and the set, because we were working to get the information, rather than having it just handed to us.
Ryan was the "featured player", being one of the Hecatomb developers. His in-game persona went all over the world trying to track down a book that would bring about the end of the Universe. Nice work if you can get it!
I played both Hecatomb games to one extent or another. If this is going to be something similar, I'd advise everyone to pay close attention. They did most of the stuff on the Wizards' boards, so I'd start there.
So gleemax is spelling us out a message, it contains 16 "E"s, an !, no "..."s the number 22 may be relevant too, that's all I could get from Miskatonic's response, can anyone get anything more from that one?
Hey there, just seen that everyone else was talking about the interresting package that I received other day, a squishy brain. I play dnd, and magic so I wonder which one I was sent ?
What would be a lot more useful is if the emails the members sent to gleemax were revealed. Who is to say they didn't leave out punctuation and vowels?
A lot of people have been editing out their number from the e-mails they recieved too... Perhaps a thread containing only verbatim copies of the e-mails sent and received should be started? Then we could use that thread as a reference and continue to ponder here

People who edit out there numbers are most likely fakers who don't want to put a number out just to have the real number holder call them on their fakeness. If you’re not a faker than this doesn't apply to you, prove your legitimacy by submitting the e-mail verbatim with the number left in. I don't see why you would want/need to hid your number anyway.

Edit: Does anyone know what "RPGA accounts" are?
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No on will ever know
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay

Yeah, and as i said before, 5000 brains were sent out divided evenly between DCI people and D&D people. Thus, it probably isn't a JUST magic thing
