Scout's Warning is a card I've wanted for a while...except my version was green. :/

you can generally tell the easiest road to victory by how many players congregate on it; and the road of counterspells/control has been the freeway of choice in magic for quite some time.

What I find offensive is not that Wizards is endeavoring to make the game more accessible, but the attitudes of elitists who act as though no one of any age should show their face in the Magic public without first having mastery over the complexities of the game.
I don't like that card being white. I think it should go into green. I see how it could be white, but green is generally more natural at doing stuff for its creatures.
On the Warning, if you don't actually play a creature spell, you just suspend it, can you suspend multiple creatures? I guess whatever applies for Quicken applies here.
So now we have a white Quicken for creatures huh? The annelid is one of the coolest cards I've seen so far. This is quickly becoming my favorite magic set.
I just realized. Mycoloth perfectly demonstrates the devour mechanic.
Mycoloth: NOMNOMNOM on Dragon Fodder.
One turn later, 1/1 turds come out.

btw i did it because i could. i was bored and decided to let my little med-free spree go ahead. I am bipolar, explaining all the drama that ensued after. I have problems.

Jon Finkel can simply walk into Mordor.
"When an artist dies the world loses two lives, that of the artist and that of his unfinished work."
I have to admit I don't really understand how the Annelid works...
It's simple. Scry X means "Look at the top X cards of your library. Put any number of them on the bottom of your library and the rest on top in any order."
So if there was reminder text fully written out, then the card would mean:
Look at the top card of your library. Put it on the bottom or top of your library. Then, look at the top 2 cards of your library. Put any number of them on the bottom of your library and the rest on top in any order. Look at the top 3 cards of your library. Put any number of them on the bottom of your library and the rest on top in any order.
- Jon Finkel Facts: (follow the link at left to see more Facts, or add more Facts!)
- Chuck Norris counted to infinity twice—because he was trying to count how much damage Jon Finkel deals in an average game.
- Jon Finkel believes in maintaining a healthy, balanced diet. He gets all his fiber from eating Magic cards for breakfast, and all his protein from eating Magic players for lunch.
I have to admit I don't really understand how the Annelid works...
Well, you can look at the top card of your deck, and put it on the bottom if you want, then repeat for the top two cards of your deck, then repeat for the top three cards of your deck. If you want, you can put up to six cards at the bottom of the deck. I think it's a pretty damn cool look on Scry.
I have to admit I don't really understand how the Annelid works...
You look at the top card of your library. If you dont like it, you put it on bottom of the library. Otherwisie put it back.
Then you look at the top 2 cards of your library. If you don't like any of them, put it on the bottom of the library. then put the remaining cards on top of your library in any order.
Repeat this process with 3 cards after this.
In other words:
"Do you like this card?"
If YES
"Do you STILL like this card?"
if YES
"You Really sure you like this card?"

I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
I have to admit I don't really understand how the Annelid works...
I want to know what the reminder text is.
It works like this...
When it comes into play, look at the top card of your library. You can put it back or on the bottom of your library. Then look at the top 2 cards of your library. You can put any number of them on the top or bottom of your library. Then look at the top 3 cards of your library. You can put any number of them on the top or bottom of your library.
So you can dig six cards deep with that card...if you want.
Very good in limited when you need a specific card.

What we're doing here is akin to taking the text of Moby Dick, locating specific words therein, rearranging them to create a passage from Fight Club, and concluding from this evidence that Tyler Durden is based on Ahab.

Annelid is cool, nice use of scry.
Well, Green gets cards with Flash, but to make guys that didn't have flash, have flash, is not Green. White reactively changes itself when responding to threats (and proactively guards the status quo, while Blue reactively guards the status quo, and proactively changes itself to respond to threats).
White, now, is in more need of power than Green. Yes, it'd be nice if Green had more flash guys, but Quicken for a card type is not Green.

I know. Sig updated accordingly.
Also, good points in Warning's defence. I've been toying with the idea of a white/x CIP deck just for fun, and this would be useful.

The warning is a nice trick/cantrip. I can see it being played in certain decks scared of countermagic. The annelid is great for limited. Besides his large butt, he digs deep into the library for answers to current problems. Blue will be good in limited.

I don't see any use for the 1/4 other than as a blocker in limited that helps set up your next draw, kinda like Spire Owl and so on.
Warning is something I would play with, but I'm not sure if it will catch on with other players. Most will probably remember Quicken and stay away from it... although I think it's pretty useful. Woulda been sweet if they'd print it with Split Second for :symw:, and also grant the creature spell flash AND Split Second.
Here we go again:

The next creature card you play this turn can be played as though it had Flash.

Crptic Annelid

Phew... now I better get back to work before the office girls attack!!!
Enjoy.
The second could be very effective at hand arranging, although that 4 cc might be disappoiting to blue mages.

Annelid is cool, nice use of scry.
Also, EOT Magus of the Disk is nice.

Second one seems bad, playable in limited at least.
Also, lol @ scry combo.
The Cryptic Annelid is nicely skill-testing! Good players will use it much more effectively than bad players.

Annelid - Very cool design, but not enough power to be really worth it in constructed.
