Man I love Thai food, even more than I love Chinese food and those dang luck fortune cookies I've been getting lately. Well, tonight my wife thought thai food would better suit her tastes, so we drove down to the local Thai takeaway and ordered some mean as meals...
...the usual guy wasn't there to serve us, and instead in his place there was... A mysterious Dutch GUY! WTF? He paused me just as I began to speak and gave me a small envelope and mouthed the word 'THEM'
Then he took our order... we had Thai for dinner and it was all sweet. The End...
Oh, yeah the envelope... ...it contained the following:
Putrid Cyclops 2B Creature - Zombie Cyclops When Putrid Cyclops comes into play, scry 1, then reveal the top card of your library. Putrid Cyclops gets -X/-X until end of turn where X is that card's converted mana cost. 3/3 Common.
Frenzy Sliver 1B Creature - (um I think it's a) Sliver All sliver creatures have Frenzy 1 (Whenever this creature attacks and isn't blocked it gets +1/+0 until end of turn) 1/1 Common.
Samite Censer-Bearer W Creature - Human Rebel Cleric W, Sacrifice Samite Censer-Bearer: Prevent the next one damage that would be dealt to each creature you control this turn. 1/1 Common
Gift of Granite W Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature Flash Enchanted creature gets +0/+2 Common.
yes, yes.... YES!!!! Fill the partial spoiler my common pretties!!!
All the cards except for the Putrid Cyclops are fairly unspectacular. They'd mostly be filler cards methinks. The Cyclops on the other hand would have good applications in aggro decks, although currently B/R aggro decks don't really need it.
Wow, the sliver rocks. Another cheap pump sliver, for what really matters in the red zone. Thats three cheap and powerfull sliver pumps for :symb::symw::symr: Slivers.
The zombie giant is nice. I think his only home is mono black tribal zombies.
Hm... the cyclopse seems like it is good alongside Dark Confidant. Between the two of them, you should be able to keep the average cost of cards in your deck to be like 1.5. the Cyclopse is a fairly efficient (and splashable) beater, can set up your next draw, and only dies if theres something that costs 3 or more on top. And even if there is, you can put it on the bottom and risk the next card being 3 or more.
Frenzy Sliver seems decent in RWB aggro slivers, but not amazing. Like a way situational Sinew Sliver. Good with Sidewinder Sliver for a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" moment.
The censer-bearer is, um, mad tech against pyroclasm if you are running all x/2's? I dunno, it seems mediocre, but its a common one drop. Most of those tend to be.
The aura is underwhelming, but its an aura. I'm pretty sure no one was expecting a rancor. This could have been good with a Shacklesesque return ability. As it stands, maybe playable in limited, completely unplayable in constructed. Makes Indomitable Will look a bit better in comparission.

Finally a decent low costed black sliver. It probably won't affect decks, but it will be another decent 2-drop in limited. The cyclops is not bad either since it will probably survive without problem in a low curve deck, a pity they didn't print it as a 4/3 for some added appeal.

The Cyclops is cute You can scry, and if you can get a land card, you already get a 3/3 for 3 with a bonus Not bad for a common.
The Frenzy Sliver is complete and utter blah. A +1/+0 Bonesplitter Sliver beats this stupid any day, except against Phthisis, which is almost never played.
Censorbearer is not too bad, but obviously limited fodder..... Protecting your creatures from Pyrohemia in standard can be done in much more better ways.
Gift of Granite is okay. The Flash is a big bonus, seeing that if your bear is about to get burned, you can add this to save it for a shot. But again, this is a mere limited fodder.
Putrid Cyclops looks a little iffy... the scry one does make it up by allowing you to move acard away if it is gonna kill the cyclops... probably limited stuff...
Frenzy Sliver... errrmmm another keyword???? Now I am really appreciating the reminder text lol strictly weaker than muscle or sinew. why bother?? hmm
ehhh the samite is limited stuff.... too situational me thinks...
Yeah with 49 keywords being in this set, I am thankful for reminder text. The zombie is nice. Can be helpful late in game as well. Play him and if it nothing you need with the scry. put it on the bottom. Play him and you get a damnation as a top card and needing it, you don't care if it dies.

"communication is not just words, communication is architecture. Because, of course it is quite obvious, that a house, which would be built without the sense, without that desire for communication, would not look the way your house looks today." -Poe, House of Leaves
Current Type 2 deck: Snakes on a flying thing
Current Type 1 deck(s): SerraBomber & "Cheaper by the Lazuli"
Really that sliver is only weaker then Sinew cause Bonesplitter and Might Sliver both cost 2 and 3 mana more.
So pretty silly to compare them kinda like saying well Serra Angel is better then that 2 mana 2/2 even though they cost nothing similar.
I think the sliver has some minor potential for WBR slivers which is the only truly competitive deck for them the cyclops is decent and might be ran in some MBA deck or something.
Cyclops- bad, its a 3/3 for 2B(okay so far), it has scry 1(good), it reveals your top card(bad), cyclops dies if that card costs 3 or more(horrible).
Frenzy Sliver- okay frenzy it gives a power only pump in only 1 out of 4 potential combat situations(the best one in terms of killing your opponent luckily), pretty mediocre unless it an impressive frenzy number. the sliver is meh.
Censer- meh.
Gift of Granite- cheap decent limited combat trick or anti burn trick.
Murk Dwellers gets a keyword? Interesting.
It is basically reverse bushido.
The flavor of the ability being that once this guy gets through unblocked, he goes nuts and is out for blood or whatever.
Gift of Granite is a heavy meh from me.

Putrid Cyclops is very cool and nicely skill-testing. There are two things going on at the same time: you want to keep your Cyclops alive, and you also want to set up a good draw for next turn. There are times when you will love the card on top of your library enough that you're willing to let it kill the Cyclops. Sometimes it will be unclear whether the card on top is worth leaving on top or not. Sometimes you will have a land on top when you don't need another land drop, and you will have to ask yourself whether it's worthwhile to move the land down to the bottom of the library and risk getting the Cyclops killed in order to not have a land draw.
Frenzy is certainly the silliest keyword in a while. Absorb makes sense, while this one... just doesn't
Yeah, I have to agree completely. Absorb was already silly, but Frenzy is downright stupid. It has no elegance, and I seriously doubt there are going to be a bunch of cards that use this lame ability. Keywords should be memorable, and this is not that. (Frenzy Sliver and Murk Dwellers are not enough to constitute a "bunch." Are they really going to re-template Murk Dwellers, for this?)

Hey, thanks Hydro
(assuming the information is accurate..)
The 3/3 for 2B cyclops would be alright in limited, where only SOMETIMES it'll kill itself. Constructed, no thanks!
Frenzy Sliver would be strictly worse than Sinew Sliver by a long shot... not good at all.
The cleric makes me yawn...
And the aura is a slightly different Holy Strength. Properly designed... just not interesting or playable. Hehe.
Frenzy feels a bit odd in black. What I do like is the possibility of seeing higher numbers of Frenzy in the future. Or maybe a combination of Frenzy and Deathtouch! Damned if you do...
Hey yo![/scotthallofNWOfame] Frenzy Sliver 1B Creature - (um I think it's a) Sliver All sliver creatures have Frenzy 1 (Whenever this creature attacks and isn't blocked it gets +1/+0 until end of turn) 1/1 Common.

Frenzy seems an odd ability to keyword. Have they ever even used that before???
Hmmm...a Granite Grip uses mountains to make you strong, but when Granite gives you a Gift it is white and makes you tougher. Fickle Granite...

Except that it doesn't really match. For instance, Battle Frenzy doesn't check that the attacking creature isn't blocked.
