But I LOVE it. Then again, who wouldn't? Any Spike is gonna love it, as it does the same thing all the Wishes did: breaks the rules. Breaking the rules = really good.

If blue wants this, they gotta either splash, or run Research/Development and a tutor lol
It's a good card, it'll see play at least for a few months then it'll get played in extended because it fetches cards that are hard to fetch because the old wishes for enchantments and stuff suck.
Alot of people say it should be in a different colour pair or in blue. Maybe, I don't think so. Wizards was put off those as, I guess, they didn't wan't to make something broken. Anyway, it's power comes from being in GW.
I just want to interject real quick in saying that Glittering Wish, besides being extremely strong in... oh... idk... Project X... Glare... maybe Zoo... just to name a few standard decks, this may just be my favorite card to come out of this block.... for one reason and one reason only...
Oh please, blue is more powerful than it's been since 7th rotated out. They used this block to give blue discard, creature removal, burn, mystical teachings and teferi, mage of zhalfir. They introduced an entire new keyword for spells that can't be countered, and blue is still in the top two decks in standard.
Other colors need good cards.
QFT but while MaRo might hate blue, about everyone else in R & D loves it so it will be the best color forever.
Most of the analysis so far in this thread has focused on Standard. This card is good in Project X, but I think the place where it will really shine is Extended, where there are already quite a few decks that play both green and white, such as Balancing Tings and GWB Rock.

any1 wanna estimate on the value?
giant solifuge for aggro atk
glare for anti aggro
phytohydra for antir emoval decks
etc etc i could go on, this wish is AWESOME
Wow, I would have expected such a card to have blue in the mana cost, since blue is really the "search for a card" colour. Black is second... and there's no black, either! Green and white, that seems a bit arbitrary, but oh well.
I never bothered playing with wishes before... and probably still won't. But I'll gladly open and sell lots of this one. :)
Seems like it'd be good in a sliver deck. Mid game, search up the sliver you were missing and lay it down - possibly ftw. Also of course it's good in a lot of extended and even legacy decks.
Funny that they said TS block was going to undo the multicoloured disgustingness that was RAV block... har har har, yeah right!!
Vineyard Magus is sick. on turn two is wild. I'm not sure it'll catch on right away, but I believe the card is quite powerful. I have a legacy deck with Orim's Chant, Eladamri's Vineyard, and Time Warp just waiting for another 4 Vineyards! Just keep recurring the Chant and giving the opponnent extra turns in which they can't play spells - burning for 4, 8, or even 10 life each time.
It seems like this makes Ghazi-Glare kinda awesome. Also the GBW Rock (aka Good Stuff Control) deck is going to get real good, with a wishboard packing Mortify, Putrefy, AoD, Hierarch, Necrotic Sliver, etc.
I don't know how good this is but I know I'm GOING to play it in block Slivers.
In Extended it's insane, off the charts, a freaking hydrogen bomb.
Anyway it's clearly a chase rare. I tend to overvalue cards but I'd place this puppy at $12 to $15.
The first thing I thought of when I saw the wish was dead baby jokes (which would make sense as this is Wizards we are dealing with), but then I saw it's true calling, they are making a monocolored wish and a colorless wish too. This will not be a five card cycle, but a three card cycle, because we all know how MaRo loves his rule of three.
Also It's finally nice to know that Wizards are starting to appreciate the finer things in life, because as a mercenary I like my more sophisicated tastes: gold, women, violence, wine(preferly a merlot), and women with gold.
So if you have a Glittering Wish in hand, a Glittering Wish and 14 other gold cards in your sideboard, and Mirari in play, can you basically move your entire sideboard into your hand over a matter of a few turns?
I believe that by now everybody knows the value of wishes. This one is no different. It will see play in both standard and extended. I'm a bit confused to the choice of colors used, but they probably had their reasons.

I think they made the Wish :symw::symg: not for power reasons, but for the flavor reason that if you had to pick one two-color combination to best represent the concept of "cooperation", white green would be it. And cooperation is the soul of the concept of multicolored cards.
I cant believe anyone could be downing this wish. B/W/G control anyone?
Oh, let's see, now I can run singleton Mortify/Putrefy/Grave Shell Scarab/Angel of Despair/Hierarch or even Knell in the sideboard and four of this? seems quite nice to me.
It's a wish, it'll see play.
Edit: Sarnath'd....and yes, this will be fetching Glare from here til eternity once everything rotates in extended

Yeah it works just fine like that. Any card that fetches outside the game fetches cards removed from the game so you can basically recycle as many times as you want.

You are missing one thing about the wish...the art is BADASS! I really want a nice foil of that card. Like right now, like I'm signing my soul over to the devil as we speak.

Don't mind my posts, they are probably just a product of gang violence
Semi-duals that, according to the spoiler, need to have basic lands of the corresponding colors to work.

If you think blue is weak, you seriously need to play some Standard, wherein blue is the best color.
R&D keeps saying they are going to nerf blue, but instead, they just keep producing good cards like Venser, Shaper Savant and Delay.
